    Default AW justcamit problems

    Been having alot of problems with AW justcamit recently and was wondering if any of you ladies can offer any type of help.

    I have it downloaded to my PC.

    The cam seems to stall a lot (lag I guess you may say). Furthermore what's more problematic is that it seems to show a black screen after about 10 minutes, meaning that it drops.

    Are there any specific settings I should be using to prevent this? I think its driving away business as I get guys that click in for a minute and then leave. A regular customer of mine was polite enough to alert me of the problem.

    I then decided to offer free view so I could go into my room from my other computer and check it out. And yup it is extremely laggy/breaks up alot and drops after 10 minutes.

    If I log out and log back into justcamit it seems to resolve the issue but only for another 10 minutes or so. Seems to me I have to log out and log back in every few minutes in order for this to work. Help!

    Oh and I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it.

    I am averaging about 1.5 mbps upload and around 50 mbps download

    Last night I had one customer that couldn't cam with me to save his life. Strange thing is I was able to cam with other guys in between his "tries".

    I just don't understand justcamit at all!!

    I think its a mismatched codec issue.

    The "fault" may be on both sides.

    It could be reduced by the host computer having the latest codecs installed and correct JCI settings.

    I had cam2cam issues the other night, two guys tried but JCI just kept kicking them and then posting their username over and over again in my chat screen!

    I also get the black screen, so now after every show, I log out and back in and find I dont get complaints of black screen - which I cant see btw - so I never know when there is a black screen!

    I use the browser JCI on my mac.

    I also notice a lot of guys lately leaving in the middle of a conversation and it feels like they got kicked out, but then they could have just left, altho it would be a strange time to leave! I just hope they dont think it was me who kicked them.

    Theres a recent thread that mentions the guy who runs the software is able to help (David?). He will walk you through it. I think different computers will have different correct settings.

    When on JCI here there is two machines, a laptop and a computer, the laptop has never had a black screen yet the computer has.

    Havent looked into it in depth yet as its a rare occasion and is fixed by a restart.
