    Default Dancing with a wig?

So i've been dancing for about 2 months now started my first month only working weekends but now ive started more during the week. anyways, i currently have a short hair cut (because of past haircuts and dying damage) and i constantly get down about seeing all the girls with long hair plus the fact that about every 5 customers mention i'm the only one with short hair i decided to order a wig online just to see if i can pull it off and maybe make it work. my thing is this:

-worrying about keeping it attached, any experiences with loosing it on stage? (i'm a pretty tame dancer since i'm still learning)
    - would customers who have seen me before find it weird or a turn off?

As for it falling off i wouldnt worry about that. The only thing i wear are wigs. They come with a adjustable strap so you can change how tight it is on your head and make it tighter. They also come with wig combs. Combs attached on the inside of the wig so that it is more secure so that when you go upside down it wont come off. I sujest going to your local beauty supply store to get a wig, that way you can actually try it on before purchasing. As for the men just say your trying something new if they bring it up but for the most part you wont even have to worry about it. I went from a black curly wig to long straight BLOND hair and told my custys i dyed and straightend it and they BELIVED ME LOL

i used to have a purple "for fun wig" and i loved the style of it so i bought one offline thats extremely similar in style i chose a natural brown close to my natural color (thinking maybe custies would just think extensions ) and it's got a slight curl on the ends i figured that'd be more natural looking.

I've never lost one on stage (or while dancing) but I've seen it happen. Secure the edges with bobby pins and check it every hour or so. Most customers won't care...that being said, if they aren't interesting in spending on you now, then there's a good chance they won't spend after the wig. It may help with new customers, but not so much with existing ones.

I wear a lace front wig and in the dark, no one can tell the difference. The adhesive I use is really strong to the point that I can do crazy pole tricks and not worry about it flying off. The wig will usually stay on for three-four days unless you're picking at it.
