    1. Lose 30 pounds ( either p90x or zumba)
    2. Eat healthier. Mostly fruits and veggies. I hate diets!
    3. Get back into pole dancing. I liked how my body looked when I used to dance. Curvy & Toned.
    4. Drink more water & start dry brushing my body.
    5. Maintain butt length hair & skin regimen.

I joined a new gym that is LITERALLY right across the street from my apartment complex, I think it opens next week but its only $20 a month and it has a ton of amenities (google the nearest planet fitness if you wanna check it out) so my goals are:
    - go to the gym for 1-2 hours 4 days a week
    - eat cleaner (less junk, more water)
    - start using vitamin e oil again every night at bedtime
    - exfoliate more to fade my scarring from razor burn
Tell me what do you see? Thug niggas? Drug dealers? Its a trip...every nigga in this whip got a mothafuckin college degree

This thread is right up my alley.

    - Loose around 20 lbs, more if necessary. (Running, weight training, perhaps some Jillian Michaels)
    - Eat clean 6/7 days (veg, low sodium, lo carb, NO PROCESSED FOODS)
    - Drink at least 3 liters of water a day
    - Get flexible (Bikram Yoga classes maybe?)
    - Improve my stamina (cardio like a boss)
    - Keep nails lacquered
    - Purchase and install extensions.
    - Whiten teeth
    - Rock a fresh face EVERYDAY (little things like a bit of mascara and lipgloss make a big difference)
    - Give up (heavy) caffeine consumption (proper nutrition should help with this)

I think it's time to revive this thread, ladies! How is everyone holding up?

-I managed to lose 5lbs before breaking up with the ex, gained 10 while I stayed with family for a month, lost 5 since I moved a few weeks ago. So I'm basically back at my starting weight of 125lbs. I wish I was seeing faster weight loss, but I'm satisfied with a 1-2lb/wk loss since it's supposed to be the best rate.
-Been hitting the gym in my apartment complex pretty much once a day for cardio. I say "pretty much" because my sleep schedule is ALL out of whack, but at least it's open 24-hours.
-My Brazil Butt Lift set was stolen within a few weeks of buying it. (Fucking thieving bitches...) So ready to get another copy.
-Planning to get the Felix Cane Pole Dance Mastery series. Gonna set up a pole when I get into my own place, but will still be able to do the Artistry/Floorwork and Flexibility DVDs until then.
-Supplements I'm currently on: calcium+D, prenatal, lithium orotate, and just started on fish oil. Still planning to add pearl powder and extra E, plus white powder gold.

Is your goal still 95 (if I remember correctly), Desu? Cause I totally want pics when you reach it! I'm still shooting to get back down to 100, but what I see in the mirror is more important than the number so I don't mind if I end up a few pounds over. I WANT to try for double digits myself, just to see how I'd look, but I had too many assholes trying to give me some kind of complex when I was between 100-110 to risk getting upset in the process.

    1. lose 3 to 5 lbs. I want to have abs.
    2. stop eating so much sugar. I'm naturally thin so it doesn't hurt my outer appearance but I know it's super bad otherwise.
    3. workout more often. I don't have to workout at all to be thin as long as I'm not binging everyday on junk but I should for my overall health.

I want to try and have a heathier lifestyle with food and exercise. I would like to lose some weight or possibly just tone up. I feel that when i try to focus on weight loss it just backfires so i figured more of a "healthy" approach would work?

    1. Figure out a proper beauty regimen. I've cut out all face/body products that have parabens/SLS/fragrance but I'm still looking for products that I love and love my face back.

    2. Sign up for swimming class. Probably the only exercise I love to do.

    3. Make my own green and protein smoothies, stop buying it from the stores.

    4. Eat more veggies/fruits. I hardly eat meat. I know I'm supposed to eat salmon for omega 3 benefits but I just hate it!

    5. Find a good multi-vitamin and actually swallow it regularly

    6. Do that lemon/lime water mess that was recommended to me

    7. Work harder at cutting out pasta. Pasta/bread/biscuits are my LIFE. Makes up 80% of my diet.

    8. If the pasta cutting doesn't slim down my tummy or if I fail, start saving for liposuction. Fuck it.

theonewho- I would say taking the "healthy" approach DOES work, lol. While I was in the best shape of my life, I didn't really work at it because I was just in a healthy environment. Ate lots of foods that were good for me, plus all the exercise from pole dancing at work and just generally being active. Find some kind of activity that you LIKE doing, like dancing, swimming, etc.

Totally need to switch from smoking cigarettes to hookah sessions instead. From what I can gather, shisha isn't as bad as the tobacco in cigarettes, plus all the filtration of the hookah itself. If I smoked more than two cigarettes back to back, I'd have a coughing fit! Whereas I can smoke the hookah for an hour and experience nothing but the relaxation and awesome flavor. Besides, what could be cuter than a pretty girl puffing on a pretty pipe in her own little "chill zone".

Oooh got so many good idea from here on what to do to improve things

1)Do yoga once a week, it keeps away any aches
    2) Do more stretching because that keeps my spine in good shape. I have been neglecting stretching exercises. I used to be so good about it.
    3) Do a thin layer of jojoba oil on my face a night to keep away the wrinkles. Also continue using oil as a makeup remover and GENTLY remove it with a dampened cotton swab to reduce friction. I think that rough eye area makeup removal will eventually lead to fine lines in the area.
    4) Have yogurt almost every day but try to make a yogurt cup at home instead of spending so much on one to-go
    5) Continue being gentle with my hair, careful when washing it, and take my time with detangling it. Every rip I do means a less attractive mane so I need to practice being patient more instead of treating it like a replaceable mop.
    6) Try to start a practice of having a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil in the morning, or at some time during the day. Have at least on source of mono unsaturated fatty acids a day whether it is from eating avocado or having almonds or flax seed or olive oil. It will keep my skin young.
    7) Wear a hat whenever I am outside when the summer gets stronger.
    Continue eating clean.
    9) Avoid emotional eating and only eat when I am actually hungry and try to get better at knowing the difference.
    10) Try to be consistent about working out at least three times a week with yoga or any other workout
    11) Keep growing my hair longer and being gentle to it when I put it in a scrunchi or whatever hairstyle. Be gentle with whatever hair accessories I use. All of these things add up and make a difference.

For ladies who have problems with under eye circles- try a potassium supplement! I'm only on day two, so I haven't seen a difference yet, but the boyfriend has been looking less tired each time I see him and he swears it's the potassium supplement he's been taking for like 3 weeks.

^ ohhhh just be really careful with that potassium supplements should always be followed under doctors advice. Too high potassium causes heart arythmias and death. If you take Jas or jasmin or spiro (all potassium sparing diuretics) never ever take a potassium supplement. It's extremely dangerous. I can't have much potassium in my diet because I was on both those meds. I've gone off now though but still too much potassium is scary :-/

Also some antibiotics are potassium sparing as well so just double check when you are taking medication with the pharmacist.

Agree, electrolytes should not be played with, there are ways to balance them out but not a good idea.

Glad you guys pointed that out. I suppose I got a little ahead of myself. I'm not urging anyone to go out and buy a high dose supplement (I had to take one fairly high dose liquid not too long ago when I was suffering from a complicated bout of dehydration, worst taste ever!). For pretty much ALL supplements, you should consult your doctor first- same goes for drugs, diet, and exercise. Lots of people don't consult first, and end up suffering for it later in the forms of overdoses, malnutrition, or re-injuring a problematic joint.

On the other hand, just to bring a small amount of balance to good/bad rap for potassium, I've never heard of anyone having problems with taking a 99mg (3%DV) if they follow the directions and only take one dose per day like the bottle tells you to.

Okay, so it's been a week on the potassium supplement, taken as directed on the bottle (single tablet, once a day, providing 99mg which is 3%DV). While I still have under eye circles, they are not as dark as they were a week ago. Definitely not some miracle cure, and I really do not plan/advise a larger dose. To be clear, I do NOT take any prescriptions, antibiotics, or other supplements that funk with potassium. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to find out I were potassium deficient, even with the supplements, because I don't get to eat many potassium rich foods in my current living situation.

On a new note- Anyone seen Morgan Fairchild? That woman is 62 and looks better than some women in their 30s! I don't know how the hell she does it, but I want me some of that! Totes buying her book "Super Looks" and taking the following advice she recommends to everyone who asks about her looks-
    1) No Smoking (well, switching to a hookah and keeping sessions infrequent, anyway)
    2) No Drinking (except a glass or two of red wine at dinner- no binging!)
    3) No Drugs (um, does weed really count as a drug?)
    4) No Sun (got this one covered!)
Okay, so I'm not a devout follower- at least not yet. But I'm working on it!

I'm not being a smart ass but she definitely does it by eating healthy, exercise, Botox, filler and probably other surgery. Everyone praises me for for looking so young... I'm 30 and usually get 21-23... It's Botox and filler done right... No one thinks I've had either but I do tell people. That stuff gets a bad rap but if you have a good injector they know how to make it look natural.

As an update, I'm achieving my goals! I've lost weight (PM me for my before and afters if you want), about half of what I want to lose. I'm eating right, and am currently on an 8 week no sugar mission which is going well. My hair is also down to my bra band.

In other news I still look like a little girl. But I guess there's worse things, especially when you're turning 30 (and really upset about it).

I have a really awesome Pinterest board with all my little beauty secrets on it. It uses my real name, so again if you want it, PM me.

lol, I understand that it takes a lot of work and a good derm/surgeon. I've been thinking lately about when a good time is to start looking into my own "work" so it seems more natural, rather than waiting and people be able to see a "yeah, she definitely just got Botox" change. How old were you?

I started getting filler 1 time each year since 27 and Botox 1 time at 28... 29 I've had Botox every 6 months but in different areas so it's not my whole face frozen... My lady just sort of rotates through where she puts stuff so it looks natural. I don't think you can really say a certain age... I think you can tell when you are ready. For me I was starting to get fine lines under my eyes and permanent smile lines. I'm lucky my forehead is small so I can't even cause any lines to come on my forehead.. Never have been able to and doubt I ever will. But I express a lot with my mouth so she looks after that area. Seriously there are so many Botox haters out there but if it's done right it looks good. I just got asked for ID 5 days before my 30th birthday at a football game... The legal age here is 18!
