    Default Cleanng silicne toys

A couple of my toys are silicone and I really, REALLY hate how they attract every speck of dust and fluff in the universe. Does anyone else have this problem?

oh my gosh and I have to be SO wet before it goes in... WHY!!??

Keeping it in a plastic bag helps keep dust off a bit, but I usually display mine as an "art piece" and rinse it off before use.

Give them a very light dusting with cornstarch and then wrap them in a dry washcloth before storing them away. I use an old makeup brush to brush it on and dust off any excess. Only use cornstarch, not any other type of powder. That'll keep them from picking up any lint and the food-safe cornstarch is safe for your body (saw that tip on a toy sales site).

When I'm ready to use them again I just give them a nice coating of coconut oil and they insert comfortably without having to be super wet.

The site I bought mine from recommends to use them with condoms which is fine. I just go on campus and stock up haha. Then I store it in saran wrap when I'm done.
Bitch? Actually I'm an evil cunt. Slut? Try dirty little whore. Either way, you have to pay for it.

Ugh, I stopped using those toys. I have one that's a kind of metal or at least looks like metal and I just bought 2 glass toys. One of them looks like glass and the other one looks like a regular vibrator.

Whenever I used the silicone toys I would tear inside and be sore for a week. SOOOO not worth it. I only use my silicone toy for bjs now.

Also, those silicone toys can pick up smells and bacteria, so definately do not use while you're on your period, and make sure they stay clean for sure. Yeah, I keep mine in a plastic bag which helps and I never set it on the floor. I set it on the baggie on the floor and it doesn't pick up lint.

I think there's different kinds of silicones and silicone mixes. Like some of the soft jelly-like silicone toys actually have phthalates in them.

My We-II vibe gets so linty and there's a lot of friction.

But my Lelo toys aren't like that at all. And neither is my Mystic Wand. They just feel like really smooth, velvety plastic.

Medical or food grade silicone should never have an odor, is nonporous and able to be disinfected. It sucks because sex toys aren't regulated by the FDA so companies can claim something is silicone when it's not 100% and has other yucky things in them. Silicone based lube will melt sex toys that aren't 100% high grade silicone but will wipe right off higher quality silicone toys.
