Just as a side story, I had a customer last week who asked me would i like a drink with him, i as always, said "no thankyou, i dont drink at work, but maybe later" He continued all night to call me over all night to "chat" but not have a dance (he was an arrogant douche and after about three times of him asking for my real name, number, facebook etc i asked him not to call me over unless he would like a dance off me. He was asking the waitresses to come get me, they would come tell me he wanted a dance, i would go over, all he wanted was to sit and try and get info out of me. He wouldn't have a sit-down (£300 per hour) with me, so i assumed he was a time waster.

So a little later on, he calls me over, i go over "would you like a dance now hun?" he goes, "Not yet, ive just ordered some wine, then we can go dance..." So i wait...the waitress brings over the bottle, uncorks it, he asks me if i want a glass, i say "No thankyou, i told you i dont drink at work and i dont drink red wine anyway" ...he gets really annoyed, tried blaming me for him ordering the wine and was fussy about paying for it. Even after all this, he tried getting me to have a glass (i dont like red wine at all and so would never drink it anyway) after him going on about how he wouldnt have ordered it if i hadnt said i wanted a drink i told him "Look, time is money, do you want a dance or not because you have been wasting my time all night calling me over and im bored of it, I dont know if you are getting me confused with one of the other girls because i NEVER drink at work and i certainly wouldnt have ever said to order red wine, please stop trying to blame me for your idiocy, you are welcome to drink it and spend money on me but i wont be drinking!"

I dont mind sitting and chatting to customers for a little while, especially if its not busy, but unless they are paying for my time after a max of about 15/20 minutes i would leave them and move on, i dont understand what customers think when they refuse to spend money on the girls, but expect me to sit and talk to them, i am at work, its not social. All this particular customer wanted was for me to go home with him, his friend offered another girl £15K if she would go home with him (he had a fair bit of cash on him, but they wouldnt have sit downs, wouldnt have dances and only wanted to get us drunk. I can drink on my own time, not at work.
I've yet to ask for a "sit-down". I assume a sit-down is just paying for a dancer to sit and chat with no dances? Anyway, I wouldn't really know what to talk about. At least, not any conversation lasting longer than 10 minutes or so. I always buy dances after just a few minutes of chat (sometimes right after the current song is over). I would probably start to get too personal with my questions, since I wouldn't waste my breath on weather reports.
As far as drinks go, I don't drink anyway. The one drink minimum for me is always sprite. I don't think I would offer a dancer a drink at work, since they need to have clear heads. And honestly? I end up getting drunk in a different way . Dancers get me drunk with lust

A sit-down is what we call when a customer buys a certain amount of time with a dancer, half an hour £150 basic, hour £300 basic and so on. They can have as many table/lap dances as they like in that time but it basically means that the dancer gets taken off pole rotation and can sit with the customer, if she goes to the toilet and when she gets back there is another girl there she can still sit back with the customer etc cause he's already paid for her time.

We call then "sit-downs" cause for the most part, all you're doing is sitting down lol, I think its called a champagne room/vip in the USA.
We have a VIP dance which is basically a 15 min non-stop dance in the "VIP room" for £70.
