Individual lashes are best used towards the outside of your normal lashes. They add a really great natural "drama" when used on the outside. Try using one or two of those tiny "clusters" of hairs to start out with. Place the first one at the very end of the outside of your lashes, and the next one right next to it. If you're going for more of a "natural, yet enhanced" look, you may want to cut the one closest to the inside of your eye a tiny bit, so its shorter than the outside lash. This will create a more gradual, winged-out, natural effect. They're very easy, and you really only need 2-3 of those little clusters to give your lashes a nice boost!!

Don't use the "permanent glue for individual lashes" stuff. You'll look great for a few days, but soon the new lashes will start falling off, taking the real ones they're attached to with them. You'll wind up with sparse, clumpy, weird-looking lashes. You'll be tempted to fill in the gaps with more lashes, making the problem worse in the long run. It took my lashes several months to recover after a month or so of wearing individual permanent lashes. Maybe I just used the wrong soap or makeup remover or something, but I really can't recommend them. If you must use them, use the glue designed for strip lashes.

I haven't used 'em, but I know a lady that does, be sure & get the special remover! It can damage skin/lashes if you don't..

i tried it last night but i think i put way too many on. it looked ok before i went to sleep. but when i woke up i looked in the mirror, it was like "holy shit, eylashes". then i tried to trim them with giant scissors while they were on my eye and i couldn't get both sites even...so i just took them all of.

i used normal glue because honestly i was scared of the permanent one...im glad now that i did after reading your warnings...the normal glue holded fine sleeping one night so i'm hopping i can get them to last 3-4 days next time because it did take me like a while to do them.

im gonna try doing alot less this time..just a couple on the outside and trim them BEFORE i put them on

    thanks

Personally I don't think the cluster "individual" lashes look very good. I've seen lots of girls/women with them & they tend to look pretty obvious. IMO the strips or *true individual* lash extensions (the ones done one hair at a time in a salon) look better, especially if your lashes are really short to begin with.

As far as applying them, I agree with the suggestion to NOT use the permanent glue. They rip out your lashes and leave you with really thin natural lashes.

I haven't tried them, but from what I understand you are supposed to use special remover with the permanent glue. I've been looking into something like this myself; where does one get permanent glue? I found a couple sites but I wasn't able to order any of the stuff..

Yes, they do! I'm not trying to sound racist, but the worst are Asian salons. The first time, it gave me a serious eye infection and the second time, my eye swelled up and I had to miss work. Both times, it really damaged my eyelashes. They finally recovered, but it was stressful.
