    Lightbulb Product Advice. Recommendations?

Hey ladies, need some recommendations . In the Winter my hands get REALLY bad chapped, like red and will crack chapped. What do you guys use for a really good, heavy, mosturizing cream?

On the flip side, my face gets dry too, and I need a good mosturizer that's on the light side, as my face skin is really sensitive.

Ha ha I just got back from Denver and it was soooooo dry and it snowed twice. I tried to scrub my self tanner off my hands and now they're bloody scabby and dry and nasty. I had to hide them the last few days at the club. I'm using lush handy guru ( it's worked before but they weren't this bad) it's only been a day since I've been using it but it's worked before. For face I love lush skin shangrala for mousurizer. If I didn't have this in dry locations I wouldn't be able to apply my makeup I'm that dry. If you find something phenominal for the hands please update!

I had really bad breakouts last year but my skin was so dry so I was recomended this moisturizer called Cliniderm. It's for sensitive skin. A bit on the pricey side but it lasts forever.

    Elizabeth Arden 8 hour Cream

I swear that is the best thing I have ever used on dry chapped and generally unhappy skin. I use it everywhere, skin, lips, when you get that scaly red nose from blowing your nose too much when you're poorly.

If they are really dry, I find that Lanolin cream works wonders (it is sticky, so it's better to use it at night, before bed etc).

^ Ha ha I have the elizabeth areden 8 hour in my suitcase. I haven't used it in years because it's so sticky and I hate the smell but I'll use anything right now! Thanks I'm going to slather it on at bedtime!

make sure you're using a cream soap, not a clear antibacterial one.

This is pretty good stuff. My sister gets extremely dry hands quickly and this does the trick.

I've slept in Vaseline and it helped for me too.

I second the recommendation for Body Shop products. I can get weird dry skin on my hands even during the summer. I recently started using their vitamin E face moisturizer and just the application of it to my face totally cleared up my hands. I love their stuff for preventing nasty winter feet as well.

If you're hands are chapped to the point of bleeding, a Neosporin-type ointment will help. Coconut oil is also really good for dry skin. For your face, maybe plain old Oil of Olay? A $6 jar of Olay (the unscented, sensitive skin formula) feels better on my face than any other lotion I've tried.
