Default Shiny new member, soon-to-be dancer

Hey everyone! I'm Mina, and I just joined the site. I've been reading for a few weeks now and thought it was time to make my first post and introduce myself.

I live in Georgia and plan to start working as a dancer in the next two or three months. I'm currently working a part-time retail job while I go to school. Next summer I'll be moving to Oregon and starting my training as a paramedic, so I'm hoping to save up a nice chunk of change for that in the club. And who knows? I may continue the work for a while when I'm in Oregon, as I hear Portland is a pretty sweet place for strippers.

I've been pole dancing since July and LOVE it, so I can't wait to start doing that for other people. I'm here to learn as much as possible about the job and the industry before I dive in, and to meet some other girls with which to exchange stories/advice. Thanks for reading, and looking forward to getting to know you all!

Welcome! This is a good place to get info. I advise you to start by reading these threads (if you haven't already):

Fyi: It's great that you love pole dancing, but you don't really get paid for pole dancing. You get paid for lap dances. Make sure you know what you're getting into and have a plan for dealing with the emotional repercussions.

Thanks for the welcome! I do know that the majority of my income won't be made on stage, but I still enjoy doing pole for an audience even as 5% of the work. It'll be an attention-grabber that I can follow up with quality lap dances.

You've gotten some great reference advice already.
Just remember that the quality you speak of is not in the dances, it is in you.
The dances are just a reflection and extension of that "you".
