    Dizzy Skipping Cam HELP PLEASE!

I keep getting feedback in my room that my cam keeps freezing up when im online.
It's been affecting my money and privates for the last 2 weeks... I'm to the point where i dont even get frustrated anymore at first i really did but now i just really need a solution...
Ok so i've got the best internet that i can get, where i live we only have 1 internet provider so it's not like i can change companies.
I just bought a new computer that i only use for camming no pictures or music or anything that will take up space on my computer.
I also got a new webcam.
I also had an additional line put in because i have a friend of mine who cams from my house.
Ive done everything i can think of but i still freeze and skip while im online.
I bought this new computer so that i could use Supercam on Ifriends and i even went back to easy cam hoping that it would fix it because i know supercam takes up more bandwidth than easycam.
Ive just done everythiiiiiiing i can possibly think of and my boyfriend who knows a good bit about this stuff too aaaaannd i've been on the phone with technical support just about everyday about the issue.
I restart my computer and modem all the time and delete cookies and all that.
I know this is alot sorry about that but if you have any ideas on what this could be i would be forever appreciative! It sucks trying to make money with a sketchy connection.... i'm at my wits end!
    Thanks in advance!

O... And my GF she doesnt have near as many issues as me, im sure she gets the occasional freeze but for me its everyday... It's so weird!

    Eeesh...

Have you had someone check your cam? I have had guys complain about my quality when I am watching MYSELF on my other computer, so I KNOW its not my problem. Of course, if you ahve everyone complaining, its probably you.

Have you actually checked your upload speed? Use www.speedtest.net - its free and pretty decent. If you can figure out your speeds, then you can narrow it down a little.

Which cam are you using? Which site, and which programmes? Are you splitcamming, or using a watermarking programe?
I take cash, debit or credit. I just don't take shit.

If you're referring to jerky movements in your video (someone described it as being similar to 'a dog shaking water off its hair'), I had this problem on MFC and SM til I started using the new Adobe Flash 11.2 (NOT 11.0).

    Same here.

    Chatgf gave instructions here: http://forum.stripperweb.com/showthr...ght=breakdance

Also be sure you go to add/remove programs, uninstall the old adobe, plus you need to be sure Chrome is using the newer version if you want to use that browser and there's an extra step if you would like that one. (More here: http://techrena.net/chrome-flash-player-10-2-beta/

That is about making it use 10.2 but it's the same basic process to force chrome to use the 11.2

Yeah, the jerky movements on cam video were driving me NUTS! I am IN LOVE with the new Adobe Flash 11.2., and Google Chrome is still my favorite browser.

It's likely nothing to do with which cam you were using, since there were known issues with the old flash.

I would recommend you at least upgrade to a logitech 9000 when you can though.

I would recommend the Logitech 9000 webcam or the Logitech HD C910 (it's what I have and I love it!) webcam. These seem to be the two cams that cam girls recommend, and Logitech is a trusted webcam brand.

I can't stand Internet Explorer in comparison to other browsers (it's too slow), and I think even MyFreeCams recommend that models use Google Chrome instead (I believe their models Wiki page advises against IE). Chrome has always been my #1. Second favorite is Firefox.

Adobe Flash 11.2 has been a dream...I absolutely love it (the regular Adobe Flash 11 was shit). No more wacky-looking jerky cam video.

Mine does it too, was wondering what was wrong.
But I watch other girls on SM, so I knew it wasn't just me.
I seen ALOT of girls skipping.
    It kinda looks funny lol.
    Tryin out the new flash.

The weird thing is that when it happened to me on MFC, one of my regulars told me he wasn't noticing it on his end. This is back when I was using the regular Adobe Flash 11. Then when I upgraded to the NEW Adobe Flash 11.2 (Make sure it's 11.2 instead of 11.0), the problem was solved. No more 'dog shaking off water'-type jerky movements.

I had terrible trouble on MFC with skipping and freezing, and I haven't quite fixed it. In fact I have given up on it for the moment.

Having said that, I have something to add that I haven't seen above: see if fiddling with your webcam setting help. I.e. turn off autofocus, rightlight, that sort of thing, and adjust manually. You may find that this helps.
