Just a heads up. One of the girls on AW has had her account blocked because she unwittingley cammed for a fraudster. Users name is SueMold beware of that one and I would be wary of anyone with a fem name.

Thanks for the warning.

This worries me.
How in the world would I ever know someone was a fraudster in my cam room? I thought that was adultwork's job to screen who they allow to buy cam services.
I can understand them saying that if it was like it was when I was doing indy and I had access to the guy's credit card number, his home address and I could compare his IP address to his location on the address, cancel the show and refund the money if I was suspicious. I don't have ANY of that information so how can they justify cancelling my account for it?
Are you sure you have the whole story there?

I got a chargeback this week from a guy named DanielLake. A few months ago someone here reported a chargeback from another guy with Daniel in his name.
Be aware ladies.
i don't understand how they can block you for that...
is there a way she can contact them to get her account back?
i guess they think that shes involved with the fraud but it seems stupid to ban her for that since its not her fault...
"Achieving success is a challenge but so is struggling so you may as well choose success."
on my indy sites, I block anybody who uses a female name as well...they tend to be total time-wasters anyway, but my main worry is that their booking email address/booking name will also be female, which is a huge flag for chargebacks...one of my sites even has an express policy against us accepting bookings from customers with female names, but I've just always done it anyway to save myself from worrying about chargebacks. I like to stay away from drama and stress whenever possible
I'm with LaurieLegs though...it's unfair that a cam-chica is being penalized for the actions of a thief. Unless there's more to the story, I really feel for her.

I have a harem of female named slaves, who serve me well .
As for the Daniel ! I'm sure he's caught me out too !!! British , from Manchester or somewhere. Chargebacks twice off him, and he changed his name the second time , to something including Daniel !

It was my belief AW blocks the user from the site in case of chargebacks and only allows them if they are legit fraud cases. Is this not the case? I'm a little disappointed if that is true.
This is not the first time this has happened. Be careful.
Honestly, that's fantastic, and it wasn't my intent to broadly state that EVERY guy with a female name is gonna be trouble. I just find when I weigh the balance, I'd rather not waste my time on a guy who's more likely to chargeback a session...particularly if that female handle comes along with a corresponding yahoo email address used in the booking. To me it's sketchy if John D. books with an email addy like [email protected] (as an example)
Mind you, I try to limit my contact with sub-types anyway...they're not my bag, I usually can't fucking stand them, so I'm delighted chicas like you do so well with them. I simply look at this issue from the perspective of my time being as valuable as my money. I'd rather not do a show rather than do one and then wonder if I'll actually get paid for it.
About the OP though...I've got to imagine the only thing worse than receiving a chargeback is having a site imply that you're a party to fraud, and thus removing your ability to continue working using that venue.
Unless they do have some tangible evidence that the chica was in on it, I'm not very impressed with AW, gotta say.

This is all very strange.
I've been with them for years and I have never heard of this happening to anyone. There have been a few incidents of chargebacks I've heard of but even those have been very rare.

I wouldnt read everything to be true. Theres obviously something missing we arent getting.
I wouldnt change views on a company as it could be mis-information etc.
The original member could be holding a grudge for instance.
We really just dont know, anyone who reads this and changes their views on the company is going to have a hard time in the internet business world.
I totally agree, I don't know the full story and I've never had any issues with AW, I love working that site, but, I do think that all of us should be aware of what can happen, don't forget, those of us who have been in this industry for a few years will be totally aware of the pitfals, new girls maybe wouldn't even dream of things going wrong, so I just wanted to give them a heads up. IMO having tried MFC, SM, NF and AW, for me AW is the best!

Just an update! The lady in question has had her profile reinstated! I think that says it all about AW, they have obviously investigated and found the girl played no part in the incident so have taken the correct steps. Alls well that ends well.

Actually I just wanna make something clear. This was NOT a warning against AW. This sort of thing can happen on ANY site, but the 'crime' took place by a guy using AW and the warning was against the guy so the girls working AW could be aware of him. FWIW I think AW did the right thing and acted responsibly.
