If you are talking about the GYM Bally's then I've used their gym before. They are pretty clean & have classes that are for free & like you said child care. The only down side to the big chains are the long term agreements they have you sign, that lock you in for at least a year or more. Try to negotiate a good agreement & you should be fine. We are going into the season for gym's to make money, 1st of the year.





I didn't like the bally's club I went to here, but I've heard good things from others. I personally prefer a club that's open ALL THE TIME, and bally's has limited hours.

as far as chain gyms go I prefer 24hr fitness or LA fitness better than Bally

I was a member of Ballys for quite a few years, and worked out at probably a half dozen different clubs in the chicago area. They were all plagued with broken equipment, poorly maintained machines and facilities and were not very clean. They would open a brand new club and within a year it was a dump. Their hours were also very limited compared to all the new chains that are open 24/7. Ive moved on and wouldn't ever consider returning.
