I had my first shift!!...wow.
Okay so I posted here a few days ago. Well I got too anxious about putting it off anymore and I just decided, fuck it, today is the day. I went to the club I was thinking of, I said I was new, I didnt pay a house fee the first night, I auditioned, I got dances, I was there about 7 hours but only actually working for about 5 hours, I also have bruised knees waaaay more than I expected :/ damn.
My audition went well, I got on stage right away and totally tripped in my heels because I was nervous LOL, and I laughed it off, I didnt fall, just stumbledOnce I got used to the stage it was fine all night and I enjoyed it because I got a lot of tips from it. My lapdances were kinda awkward though because I knew I didnt know what I was doing and I was still trying really hard to make it fun and sexy, I got no complaints, but I could tell some were probably thinking meh. Oh well!

I didnt do any vip because I felt too uncomfortable with it, I wasnt pushing for it either.
Managers and dancers were asking how long I have been dancing because I dont think I stood out like a newbie. Then when I said its my first night they looked surprised and usually said something like oh, well you looked really good up there, I didnt think you were new. So thank you SW and thank you youtube, omg!
It was really slow, everyone said early weekdays are hit or miss. At one point I was hanging out with the cook there bsing and had a beer, because no one was there besides employees for 1-2 hrs and I decided that was a good time to take a break/treat myself.
At first I felt really discouraged to talk to the men because I didnt know what to say, but I stuck it out and remembered so many things I read here about not being on the floor and not doing anything and making yourself look busy etc. I think it worked for me. If I hadnt read this stuff, tonight could have been really bad. And it proved true, I wasnt the only new girl, two others who had a little exp dancing before left early because they werent making money. But they ALSO were the girls at the bar and in the changing room chatting with veteran dancers about "do I look fat" kind of stuff and NOT hustling. One girl only made 18 dollars when she left and saw me stashing money and said, so YOURE doing well then? I said, uhh idk yet, trying to not brag or anything.
Also, the girls were all very friendly, idk how nice they are in reality but no one was rude or bitchy or anything, and they tried to be helpful when asked.
So I just wanted to let you know how it went and hopefully this is helpful to someone else waiting for their first night. SW is my best friend right now and I have more reading to do, hustle hut whats up!![]()
Thanks![]()
