I would not do it, unless you are selling a google voice number that will send the texts to email, and you check it maybe once a week. Even then, Hottie is right, you'll probably lose money in the end because it will reduce the money he spends in shows.

Besides this Id also like to say I am new to camming only a few months.
I get very discouraged. I only recently have found a site i like but there are very few customers on it.
I have worked for months on mate but i refuse to work there anymore as they are taking such a large amount and i get annoyed how they protect the models on there from certain customer requests.

second I have recently tried mfc and I really am not about doing public shows.

    Im so open to suggestions.

I have chronic lyme disease so when i put my energy into this job it can be so frustrating when it doesnt work out. I am so happy to do shows, but its so hard to put all my energy into free chat for no reason, and keep my cool with the guys i get in there. Its like On MFC they are so many ppl trying to take you for your energy who dont plan on spending money. Sometimes i question if any men go on there to actually do shows.
Luckily I get some shows on this other site but there is hardly any traffic.
I am very stressed out as my treatment is close to 1200 a month and I thought by 3 months Id be more on my way to having regulars, or more of them. I guess being on streammate killed that as when i left there they had no contact for me or anything due to their rules.

    Open to all suggestions. xxx

    Welcome Mya...

I would make him buy you phonetime... or set something up for customers and tell them if they want to text you they need to help pay your bill...

Honestly I would not want to do that. When I'm working and on cam I give my number out when they are in my cam room already paying, and I charge enough per minute to make it worth my time, and I only do this on sites that don't provide a phone feature. When I'm not camming I turn it off and leave it off until the next time I am live.

When I am off work I do not want to deal with customers and spend my time answering calls or texts.

you can learn the hard way not to give your # out to ANYONE..
or u can learn the easy way ... meaning do not do it.
does not matter for how much..
this calls for big problems later on...

I never ever everrrr give out my # to anyone.
    Ever.

My boyfriend and I were talking about offering a phone number to receive texts and this is what we came up with ... However I would only consider it if you were planning on selling the number to multiple people.

Get one of those throw-away prepay phones
When you set it up... Pick a number in a different area code (ie give them Alaska's zip-code)
Sell your number for texting only for xx per month (depends on how many people you are offering the service too and how much your phone + minutes cost)
Let your phone run out at the end of each cycle (ie New number, New Zip-code, no creepy stalker non-paying guys)

If this was special just for him... I would make him buy you a pre-pay phone with a nice keyboard and then pay your monthly plan... and by buy I mean give you the money to pay for. And again tell him it was was for texting only and he abused it that you would cut him off. And then charge him for the time an effort you'll be putting in.... Think sugar daddy
