    Search Movie and Book Seductresses...

Which characters have inspired or influenced you in terms of seduction? Or perhaps even someone you've based your stripper persona off of? Or who would you want to be more like and why?

As a kid I'd watch the James Bond movies and say "Daddy when I grow up I want to be a James Bond girl!"

Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy in Batman. LOVE HER!! the way she says "..Let me be your guide" to Robin

    Michelle Pfeiffer as Cat Woman

The older geisha in Memoirs of a Geisha... the good one. The "evil" one was great too though.

Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell in "Gentleman Prefer Blondes" (watch the whole movie free on youtube!)

I loooove Baby Firefly from house 1000 Corpses and the Devil's Rejects. She is insane, sadistic, ditsy and bubbly all in one.

Second goes to Lydia Deets from Beetlejuice.

I second Marilyn Monroe in gentlemen prefer blondes. I watched it for the first time this summer and it reminded me of so many friends.
I think old school films are great for reminding us to behave like ladies. Charming and well spoken but oh so cunning.

Scarlett O'Hara! She could get (most) anything she wanted using her "feminine charms", she was a survivor and very resourceful. In fact, last year when I was dead broke and wanted to return to stripping, and couldn't afford any outfits, I "refashioned" the dress I wore to my 10yr HS reunion a la the curtain scene lol!

OMG definitely Scarlett!!! I'm not stripping yet but when I'm in a tight spot I think "What would Scarlett do?" Next thing I know I have a free lunch or cash to pay the bills! I don't whip out my Scarlett face all the time though. Only when I'm really in use of it.

Um I hate to admit that I watch this show....but Kim K. *hangs head in shame*
This bitch flutters her eyelashes, flips her hair and gets everything she wants!
She's ALWAYS camera ready and what she utterly lacks in personality, she makes up for with light touches and the "oh im so interested in you" and "im only here for your pleasure" hustle

These are all great! I'm thinking of buying these movies on DvD and popping them in as background noise while I start my work routine And Scarlett O'Hara..I don't know how I missed that one.

barbara stanwyck in baby face--- a pre-code hollywood classic 1933 gold digger movie
Lily Powers (Barbara Stanwyck) works for her father in a speakeasy during Prohibition in Erie, Pennsylvania. Her life has been miserable; since the age of 14, her father (Robert Barrat) has had her sleep with many of his customers. The only man she trusts, a cobbler who admires Friedrich Nietzsche, tells her that she should start afresh in a new city and use men to get what she wants.

When Lily's father is killed in a still explosion, she sheds no tears for him. She and her African American co-worker/friend Chico (Theresa Harris) hop on a freight train out of town, but are discovered by a railroad worker, who threatens to have them thrown in jail. She says, "Wait ... can't we talk this over?" It is strongly implied that she has sex with him during a fadeout to get him to change his mind.
