Default Advice about Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs

I know there are lots of threads, however none have answered my question.

I've been using this product for a long time and it works for me, especially since the lap dances in the clubs I work are light contact. But here's the thing: I put on my SHLegs at home and let it dry for quite a while. But I've been wearing almost "old lady" clothes so I don't smear it on the way to work. Like old loose jeans or long skirts. I really want to wear something cute to work every once in a while just in case I go out after work.

So, has anyone wore leggings or skinny jeans without it taking off the SHLegs or smearing it?

    Would love to know experiences:-)

I've never ever ever ever worn it without smearing. And I used to blow dry my legs after putting it on, let it rest.

Its not really designed not to rub off, it just will. Some skin types will rub more than others though. I have naturally normal-slightly oily skin and no matter what I do, things like body makeup, henna tattoos, are just not doing to last.

Do you feel that you really need it compared to a simple fake tan?

It rubs off. You sweat naturally and there's not much you can do to prevent that. Its a quick fix. If you want lasting results then you need to stain your skin via a selftanner.

I do self tan, but sometimes it's not even, so I use it on my legs to even it out. If I get a pro -fake tan, I only use it on my knees.

I guess I'll stick to my loose jeans and long skirts for work (That is wearing to work).

Off topic: I wore it for a film I was doing that was completely shot in a swimming pool (it was about a swim contest). It truly is waterproof. It stayed on the entire day of shooting.

I used to wear this stuff every shift (I've been lazy recently) and never had it rub off on anything... And I work in super high contact grindy clubs! Maybe it's the way I apply it? I usually spray it into my hands and then rub it on. Idk, but it stays on all night and I literally have to scrub it off in the shower.

^This. I often wear tights to work (have worn skinny jeans etc before) &, while I don't need to reapply when I get there, it does come off on the inside my clothing (it should come out of denim easily enough in the wash though).

    I use my hands too.

I'm wondering if I was clear when stating my original post. I'm not concerned about my costumes or rubbing off on custies, but more about what I wear to work. It's getting cold and I would like to wear leggings or skinny jeans, but I'm afraid it would take my SHLegs with it while taking said jeans or leggings off.

Thanks. This helps. One thing I do notice, if I wear heels instead of boots, my feet get white streaks where my shoe straps are placed.

I just started using it, so I'm curious about it as well, especially if it will rub off on custies or not. I use a self tanner and put this on top of it, just to make my tan a few shades darker. I know it's VERY popular in my club, so I'm hoping that means it's good.

Now I feel that I didn't think of anything so simple. But sometimes I don't expect to anywhere and something may come up after work, so I don't think about it.

I wear this stuff every shift and after I put it on I wait for it to dry then spray my body with hairspray. Kind of helps it set a little better.

Mine comes off a little on my clothing but I generally just wear dark coloured leggings and a dark top so you can hardly tell. Could you try and put it on when you get to work instead of at home?

I don't like to put it on at work because the scent is "off" when you spray it. I get a bit miffed when dancers spray it around me, so I don't want to spray it around anyone. Also, spraying it at home gives it time to dry.

Bringing clean, cute clothes in another bag is a good idea. I'll start doing that.

I spray it on at home before work, let it dry, mist my legs with hair spray, and then let that dry before putting on clothes. It doesnt keep it entirely from rubbing off even after all of that, but it helps.
