    Default Videos4Sale

Videos4Sale is a backend of Clips4Sale for those who don't know.

Anyway, I'm trying to make videos available for physical purchase (DVD, VHS) and I can't figure out how.

I am in the US so....what are the shipping costs to other places? I get custies from all over....how do I know what the price point difference is?? Since this sounds like the shipping charge gets a cut from my paycheck if it isn't covered...

Also, when adding a video we can select more than one format...is this the format our video is being uploading in, or is this the physical options we choose for the buyer to purchase our content in? Like a dvd or vhs?

    USPS.com for shipping costs.

You have to put in the destination country, the weight of the package, sending zipcode (where you're from), and the desired shipping method (International Express, etc). Then it will give you a shipping cost. So you would take that amount and subtract the amount you're charging to ship in the US. That would give you the "Plus Country Rate" (I believe it's asking for the difference so it can add the base price of U.S. shipping to an additional flat rate out-of-country cost.)

And it's the physical format. You can't upload a CD or DVD. That wouldn't really make sense.

I looked into that and having to burn them then packaging and mailing them seems like a lot of work for not enough $, especially for overseas customers. I wish they would handle the burning and mailing for a charge and just let us upload them.

Oh weird! I edited this to change a typo and it removed the thanks thingies that I had gotten!

Thanks for the thanks ladies, lol!

I was considering doing the same...Do you think there's enough of a market for DVD's anymore? And Hayden, were you able to figure out how to make them available to sell?
