I never do public shows, either, and haven't done a gold show in months. One of my privates still ended up on that site Luckily (?) it was an "extreme" private so I remember who I did the show with, at least I can ban him if/when he ever comes back.

I once read a girl who said she puts a number or date or something in the background whenever she's on cam so that if she does ever find her shows leaked she can look at the date and then pull up all the viewers she did shows with on that date to figure out who leaked her content. I think that is an absolutely genius idea and I may start doing it myself.

^^^This has been brought up many times before.

When you find a prvt session on a tube site you first have to determine if it was posted by an affiliate or by the customer in the prvt session. If it was the customer- then yes, by all means, try to figure out who it was and ban them. But if it was posted by an affiliate then the customer had nothing to do with it. The prvt session was given to the affiliate by the site for promo purposes and the member had nothing to do with it. Banning the member will only make you lose a potential repeat customer.

I agree that banning willy-nilly isn't the best business strategy, but sometimes you just "know" when a customer is trying to set you up to be recorded. Like in my case, the guy was REALLY specific in what he wanted, always wanted to make sure my face was in the screen, things like that. He also had an unusual request that I'd never before encountered in my 2+ years of camming (dpp) and had me position everything so the angles were just so. It didn't seem a huge deal at the time but now looking back and putting the pieces together I'm getting a hunch that the individual who purchased the show was the one who posted it. I could be totally wrong but I will take my chances with banning him if I come across him again. Interestingly, though he raved about the show and how satisfied he was with it, he has not come back for more months later, so I'm thinking he's just moved on to the next one. If I was as good as he claimed I was he wouldn't he have been back for another private by this point? When I found my video leaked my cam name was not mentioned and there was no link to my cam profile, so having it out there hasn't gotten me any increased traffic. Since having my video leaked isn't really helping me or bringing in new customers I'd rather just block the person who I think leaked it. As a model you've got to do what you're most comfortable with, and while I'm not devastated that I've had a private show leaked (when you cam for this long you come to expect it, it's part of the territory and it's a risk we all knowingly take) I really wish he would have at least linked back to my profile so I could maybe get something out of it.
