I have been doing this for about 7 years, and I CRIED because of all the fucking rejections.
It seems no matter what I do or say, I keep getting told "maybe later, not right now". And when I go back later, they've already gotten dances with another girl or tell me flat out No.
I don't understand why. It's not because the girls have regulars; I've asked. There are a few, but not enough to account for the sheer amount of dances and money going around.
Here's an example of a conversation:
"Hi there. I'm savannah. What's you're name" smile smile, reach around and touch seductively.
"I'm Jon. How's you're night going?"
Ill tell him great or whatever, and ask him too. He'll normally reply it's going well. Then I either pitch my sale or ask to sit. Half the time they don't even want to let me sit with them. But if they do I'll slide onto his lap or cuddle next to him and talk about the music or something he likes to do or about traveling (they ask if I've worked there long and I'll tell them no, I'm new to this club but have danced in several states). Eventually I'll maneuver the conversation around to dances, and they'll say "No, not right now, maybe later".
There are a lot of Indian and Asian and Hispanic guys too. Many of the customers are IT guys or Engineers. I try to keep the conversations focused on them and on flattering them and making them feel good. But this doesn't seem to work. I even tried being "fun" and "party-girl" and that didn't seem to work well either.
I just don't understand what's going on...
It's not my look; even the less well-put together girls and heavier girls sold more. Even the girl who has only danced for 4 days sold more.
If anyone knows Seattle or this area and can give me some insight into how to hustle here, I'd really appreciate it.
Oh, and this same thing happened to me in New Orleans too. and that really sucked.
