    Default protein shake after workout

I'm doing intense weight training P90x style now at night. Should I have a protein shake after even though I might go to bed 2 hours after? Or should I just eat nothing since it's night time and when you wanna lose weight they say don't eat late at night.. I could see both being 'right' so I'm kinda torn..

You could have a protien shake like whey isolate. Just use half the recomened amount so that it counts as a snack. Or another great drink after a workout is chocolate milk.
    On Top.

Seconding the chocolate milk. It does a wonderful job of keeping your muscles from getting overly sore. :p The fact that it's the least expensive choice helps, too!

Chocolate milk is not the answer...The average woman can take in around 20-25 grams of protein at a time. SO, after a workout that amount & glycogen in the form of fruit would be a great choice. http://www.trueprotein.com/ is a great resource because you can customize your own protein for your own needs.
