    Default Shoe Measurement Help?

I have to order my new heels online and don't have a store I can go into to try some on to get the sizing right. I'm fairly certain my last pair were size 8 Pleasers, and I'm looking at ordering Pleasers again. I'm looking at the sizing chart and it seems like I should be a 7 though. My feet are just over 24cm and in normal shoes I vary between a 7 and 8. Any chance someone has around the same size feet as me and can tell me which size I should go for?

I would opted for the smaller size, as the shoe stetches out. Im a 6.5 in regular shoes, 7 seems too big and 6 is too tight. With stripper shoes I went for a 6, it hurt the first week to walk but they are so comfy now.

I'd recommend on the smaller size if you're between 7 and 8. Try the 7.

Hmm okay, I think I'm leaning for the 7 then. I had a friend who wears an 8 measure her feet and it seems like the 7 would be a better fit. Still hoping someone who rocks 7s can measure their feet so I can make sure though!

Your feet are two different sizes. Buy the size that fits your largest foot. If you are a 7 1/2, 8 then buy and 8. They might be a bit loose once you break them in but at least your toes won't hang over.

This is funny, because I wear a 7 - 7 1/2 in normal shoes and wear an 8 in stripper shoes (a 7 is too small for me).

To the OP, I would just order the size you wore before.

I went for the 8s. I hate claw toes hanging over the shoes, so I'd rather they be a bit big if anything. I often rock socks/thigh highs, so that helps keep them on, plus I don't really do anything where my feet are swinging about with a chance of my shoes falling off. Thanks for all the help, ladies!

    ^ ^ ^

What brand of inserts do you use? I've tried Dr. Scholls and then recently invested in Super Feet ($20 plus per pair). I've only used Super Feet for some stiletto boots I have (street boots) and they make a big difference.

It will also depend on the shoe type.

If they are the typical plastic Ellie/Pleaser sandals (with or without ankle strap) going down a size is the usual rule of thumb.

If the straps are made with a different material (e.g. leather, vinyl, or some other material), stick to your regular size.

I have one foot that measures 9 1/2" and the other is 9 3/8" so I'm pretty much the same size as you. Size 6 pleasers my feet fit exactly on the insole with no room to spare. Size 7 pleasers fit and there is a tiny bit of room in front and behind my feet. So really a 7 would be the correct size for my feet, but I usually order 6's because they seem to adhere to my feet as if they were glued on. The 7's stay on, but seem a little looser. That could just be the style of course. I normally wear the style with 2 clear straps across the toes and bridge.

My shoes came in! They're clear tops with no strap and the 8s fit just a bit too tight, so they should stretch out to be perfect. My entire foot fits on the sole with no wiggle room, so this means no claw toes should be in my future. Now if I just had a blow dryer and could stretch these out a teensy bit!
