First Off I've been with my b.f for 6 yrs. And been living together for 5. I love him an am still into him, but Im not horny and feel bad that he is and I'm not giving it to him. I'm thinking that maybe working at the club for so long probably did it has it for you guys?? I'm not sure but I want to be horny again, I stopped drinking alcohol for him cuz bad things happen when I do. But I'm bored And want to, idk any solutions? To get my libido back? Btw I take vitamins so that can't be it maybe I should take horny goat lol. No but seriously..help

^^ She's saying the working in the club decreases sex drive, which I completely agree with.

My advice to you would be see a physician. You may have some biological condition that is acting as impediment to sex.

I agree but writing style with laughter made me ? but hormones & psychology are the answers to sex problems.

Did you recently start new birth control or start eating drastically differently? Maybe you're just hitting a point in your life where you're just not that into sex. I'm at that point right now, and if it wasn't for disappointing my bf, I wouldn't care... but I understand where you're coming from - you don't want to hurt his feelings. It could be the club. My interest in sex began to wan a short while after I began stripping... I think it was because I started to view men more harshly and it made me "so over" men and casual sex cuz I was like "fuck their nonsense." I love my bf, but still have mostly a lack of desire for sex. It's funny, cuz when it was first happening, I thought to myself that the idea of the SC doing it to me was silly... but the longer I'm out of stripping, my desire is slowly creeping up a little tiny bit at a time... still not where I used to be, but it makes me wonder...

Anyway, I would consult a physician first to rule out any medical possibilities. If everything is fine, you can either see a psychologist or just accept it and have sex occasionally for your bf's sake.

I'd also evaluate other things in your life. For example, if I am fairly stressed, I'm going to have a harder time getting aroused. Seeing as dancing can be a stressful job, maybe making more "me time" will help.

One word: Cialis. It works on women too. I don't need it but I have tried it and wow, just wow.

up your zinc/iron intake? diet works... i'm not around SCs much, so i can't say if they numb you to sex, but i did become a vegetarian for about a year, got really healthy, but my sex drive fell off the map.

also, some people just lose some excitement in relationships... i've read several articles about couples making a concerted effort to have sex every day for a year, no matter what. quickies, horrible sex, shitty sex, whatever. just do it, they said. and it helped a lot to build intimacy and increased attraction, and helped them grow together
