Default declined more dances due to sweating!!

Ok girls idk if you guys sweat easily/alot etc...but for me, i sweat easily! When i used to go-go dance, i would sweat within the first set (which is dancing for 15 min. straight)...little did i know/think i would sweat after one stage set (2 songs) or even after ONE lapdance!! Last night i declined more dances from a good paying custie!!! He would say "one more" or "let's keep going" after song after song..and then stupid me after 3 songs i said "no let's take a break" or something. dam! but i don't like when i sweat (u all know why, cuz make-up runs, hair sticks etc) so how do i deal w/ my sweating? also, i waste a lot of time after each stage because i go to the DR and cool off etc and during that time i coulda been doin dances even bouncer would come in and say what r u doing in here there are guys wanting dances etc...! uugghh!!~
oh and another question; do u guys think fees are too much? like last night before payout i woulda made little over $400 but after $4 off each dance i went home with like $340...plus i tipped bouncer and dj $20 each and the front dude $10 and another security dude $10...even though none of them help(ed) me make money whatsover. actually, nobody ever helped me! not that i am saying i need their or anyone's help but isn't that what extra tipping is for? u think i want to/like to tip ppl just for the hell of it to be ms. santa claus?! plus i know the money they take off our dances goes to them so what is fair amount to tips these ppl? after all the fees and all the tips, i gave like $40 extra plus my tipout fees...

Have you tried going to a doctor to find out why you sweat so much? There may be something they could give you to help you out. Other than that, my suggestions would be to bring a small towel with you so you can pat your face dry if you start sweating excessively. Don't many girls carry around towels for lapdances anyway? And/or carry around a bottle of water to cool down. If you absolutely feel like you have to take a break, instead of running off to the DR and cooling down there, ask the guy if you can take a break, and sit with him so he doesn't feel abandoned and run off. I really wouldn't worry about the makeup or hair. Most guys don't notice/can't tell, especially in club lighting. Use the towel to dab your forehead, and don't worry about makeup checks until the dances are over. They probably can't even tell. I would really suggest going to the doctor though. Sweating excessively after a 15 minute set of straight dancing, sure, I could see, especially if it's really hot in the club. But after one lap dance? It might be due to medical issues that they can give you something for.

Yeah, I just pat myself dry when I get off stage. Some guys actually like it when girls are sweaty and stuff. i know some people have said botox is supposed to stop sweating a bit ( ive heard of people getting botox in their armpits!)

The club might have to heater on too high. When I sweat giving lap dances, I always complain to management to turn the heat down or the air up. The problem is when too many lazy ass dancers get too cold sitting around complain to management that they're cold.

Do you take energy pills? I sweat alot the first hour I get to the club and I think it's because I take a shower and blow dry my hair right before I go in and take energy pills but it's only like the first hour I get there.

that's EXACTLY what i did/do!!! and when he said "oh but they start complain that it's too cold" and i was like who the hell said it's cold cuz i know custies don't/aren't cold (cuz most guys they don't really get cold come on now!) and mgr said the other dancers and then i said well tell em to work harder then...and he agreed.

Tip people who help you, don't tip when they don't help. Your dj always helps by promoting you onstage but that doesn't mean you need to give him toooons of money. At my old club my dj would play good music for me (that was within what he could play) and play my "money" songs when the crowd was spending and most of the time I tipped him less than other girls....but he still liked me more and made my stage look better than others because I was really professional and easy going and other girls were divas. I also never asked him to change rotation at all...if I did, I would have tipped more. I generally tipped $5-10. But I also tipped less because there were SO many girls on rotation so I was only onstage 2-3 times a night, and he also got a cut of the expensive CRs. So he was definitely making a lot more than most of the dancers.

I barely ever tipped the bouncers because they never helped me. A couple of times some of them tried to help but I work better alone...and they would always point me in the wrong direction. Or the obvious direction ("hey look that table just bought a bottle, you should go talk to them" "no shit, I can see that too"). I stopped tipping the dance tracker because he never thanked me (or anyone) for tipping....he just kept his box out and even when girls would tip him $20+ for nothing, he would ignore them. RUDE!

I agree with you. I am not Santa Claus. These people are definitely making enough money without needing me to help them out. I don't know why some girls think that if they don't tip $20+ to everyone, then the staff won't be able to afford to eat that week...or why it's important to spread the wealth at a strip club. I don't get an hourly, I don't get tipped out by the manager, I don't get a cut of CRs that I don't do...and I do put a lot of my $$ back into my work by having nice outfits and looking great....and I get sexually assaulted every time I work. If I want to be charitable, I'll donate to a real charity...not hand out $20 to every random guy in a suit I work around.

Your house/payout doesn't seem high....the house typically makes 1/3-1/2 what I take home off of me...So if I leave with $200, it's after I payout $60-100, if I leave with $1000 I've paid out $300-500. There are obviously nights where I've paid out tons in funny money and had a high house and the house has made just as much as me, and other times when I've had a free house and left with $600+, but generally 1/3-1/2 is what I payout and I don't complain about that.

well i bring my own music so in reality, dj don't do SHIT for me/dancers; oh and i meant i always tip the dance tracker why??? got me wonderin now cuz even after i tip him well, he freakin keeps/kept walkin back and forth while i was doin dances even custies started to get annoyed but it coulda been cuz there was another dancer idk if she does stuff...anyways and he seems more strict on me AND he even "miscounted" my total dances like 2-3 times! so why the fuck do i keep tipping him 10-20 bucks beats me...uggh getting tired of all this stupid bs!

I think 20 is too much for the bouncer and dj. I usually give 10 to dj, and Ive never tipped the bouncer or floor guys unless he specifically helps me (collecting "rain", bouncing a drunk, introducing me to someone). Even then I only do 10. They get paid hourly girl!

you're tipping out too much for reasons i can't wrap my head around.

have you tried certain-dri? i use it on my armpits and my back (just a swipe down the spine). for my face, i use milk of magnesia. good luck!

If he miscounts your dances in a way that fucks up your payout continuously, then tell your manager. Stop tipping him $10-20! That is your hard earned money. Remember that this is the only industry where it is custom to tip out other staff. If you were in an office job, would you tip out the receptionist $10-20 everyday?? Unless you are tipping him $20 because he is "forgetting" about that extra $40+ you owe the house every night, then you are just tipping him for what the club is already paying him to do. Put that money towards yourself- making yourself a more desirable dancer for the customers.

no we have dj but i prefer to play my specific songs (couldn't believe dj didn't know who Stone Temple Pilots were, or ever heard of Marvin Chardonnay etc!!). and in my precvious post u will read my horrible experience w/ the jackass dj (who is no longer working there!) who bitched at me about tipping him little...anyways yeah i guess i just over tip cuz i just don't want any(more) bs drama or whatever

When this happens and he asks for one more ill usually say *with big smile* "id love to!!! but I want to run and freshen up a bit before we continue since youve gotten me all hot and bothered ;-), itll only take a second" then make a dash for it or if you know he smokes you can suggest a smoke break and say you gotta run to the dressing room to get your smokes/coat/their something in the DR before going out to smoke...

Use babypoweder when you get out of shower. It helps absorb all extra oils and sweat on your body

I sweat a lot, too. Whats worse is when I come off stage not only am I sweaty, but I shake pretty bad, too. I suppose its a mixture of adrenaline and muscle fatigue from the pole tricks. A lot of the guys like the sweating... I'm sure it reminds them of having hot sex. It grosses me out so I try to avoid it when possible. If I'm desperate for money I'll do it. Otherwise, I always run to the back real fast and blow dry myself on the cool setting for a few minutes. If there's not enough time for that I just pat my face and neck dry with a few napkins. I wish I had a better solution.

i just thought of this; wouldn't it be way cool (and maybe sexy?) if there was a big fan we can use onstage have it blow our hair all sexy while keeping us cool!
i bring my lil table fan with me all the time! and i see some girls using it after their stage it's so cute! they all say that's a good idea!
