When a person you've never seen before walks in the club, how do you tell whether they're a strip club newbie or veteran customer? Does it matter?

Do you mean whether they are new to the club or been there before, just not in awhile - or if they're "SC vets" or "SC virgins"?
Either way, it doesn't really matter to me. I can't recall a time I ever looked at someone and debated in my head whether I thought he was a newbie or a veteran. If it somehow matters to him, I'm sure I'll find out in conversation. Otherwise, it doesn't make any difference to me. Just out of curiosity, why would think it matters?

I don't think it really matters as the ladies don't really care if they get ''new face'' or ''old face'' money.
Assuming you mean veteran customer of the club as opposed to first time in any club.......did the customer walk thru the doorman merely saying hi without paying the cover? Did the waitress or bartendar bring them their drink without him telling them what he wanted? Do dancers acknowledge as he walks by with either a hug or verbal greeting? Does he join others that the lady knows or suspects are regulars?
If you mean first time in any strip club when you say ''newbie'' then someone else will have to answer. I can't help other than a glassy eyed look that says ''oh, look...boobies.''

Honestly it doesn't matter but if you are a regular customer then eventualy others know. If you are cheap or spend will determine how you are treated.
I guess it wasn't that clear: "SC vets" or "SC virgins". Figured that someone in the club would be able to spot a regular customer so in the interest of being brief I didn't write it out.
That's actually why I thought to post the question. As a customer, it doesn't matter much to me if a dancer is new or not. Most of the time I'm speaking with a dancer it's for the first time. If her question about how often I go to clubs is clearly just an icebreaker then I treat it like that. It always get's the same response anyway, which is "not really". Some dancers take it at face value but others seem to really probe about it. Mainly the veteran dancers when it happens. It's a question I get all the time in some form, so I figured I'd put it out there for discussion.

It could be that they think if you're a SC virgin, you're more likely to fall for certain hustling techniques - but if they know you know how it all works, they may be more likely to drop the routine and try something different. Idk, I wouldn't really care either way. Mostly if I ask anything along these lines, it's just "have you ever been in here?" or if they're from out of town, I might ask "what are the clubs like where you are?" just to make conversation. I never really thought about finding out how often they frequent clubs.

This thread made me think of a fun moment yesterday at a fave SC.
A hot young thang sat down next to me and chatted me up a bit. I had never seen her before (yay-fresh meat!). During our 10 minute chat at least 4 dancers (and the waitress) came up to me, called me by name, and mentioned that I hadn't visited in a while. So what is the very next question the dancer asks me?
"so....is this your first time here?"
Not the sharpest tool in the drawer, I see.
Thank goodness God blessed her with a pretty face and a smoking body to help offset other.......eh........shortcomings.
