Thumbs up P.I.N.K. Method-For women only

    Hi Ladies!

I saw this new diet and exercise program on Dr.Phil this past week, and on The Doctors and I am dying to buy it and use it for 2012. It is a workout program and it comes with a nutrition guide/meal plan and it geared specifically towards women.

    http://www.pinkmethod.com/

Once you order the program you can be in the PINK VIP and have access to trainers, you can track your progress daily, and be a part of the active community.

Now for me personally I don't want to lose weight, but tone and eat healthy.

But for those that do want to lose, you should definitely check this out.

I am planning on buying it before the end of the month. If anyone else gets it let me know, and we can share in the excitement together.

Looks exactly like the same kind of programs they've been selling for years. I can't really do workout videos though, so maybe its just me.

I'm always interested in new workout programs, but this is my issue with the diet part of the programs:

"The maintenance program for life! Your food changes at every stage so you're never bored and it keeps your body guessing which keeps the pounds melting off!"

All the diet books/programs I've looked into give you a fabulous schedule with diverse meals that sound great.... only problem is, they never have the same foods twice! I know they're trying to "change it up" and keep it interesting, but I just don't have the money to go out and buy 60 different things that I'll only use for a single meal over the course of a month. I wish the people who developed diet programs realized this and thought more about how they can utilize leftovers, or maybe put the same breakfast in there more than once (I can't go out and buy a single english muffin for the one breakfast that calls for it - what am I supposed to do with the other 5 if I'm following this plan perfectly?). These programs always stress that the diet is a really important part of it, and they'll show you people who followed the diet to a T and got awesome results, but realistically, who has the money to buy (and waste) so much food by never deviating from diets that overdo it on the diversity?

I'm not trying to come in here and be a bitch. Just my 2c on the matter, and I was actually getting really frustrated with this exact concept the other day, so this gave me a good opportunity to bitch it out lol

^You aren't required to change up the food daily for PINK or follow a specific menu, just each stage has certain recommendations for what kinds of food to include.

So for 3 weeks, if you want English muffins every day (or whatever other food that fits in that phase), knock yourself out. At the end of the 3 weeks though, they recommend a different combination breakfast. You can fit it to your budget, you just plan for each phase.

PINK doesn't require specific foods, just certain combinations, such as protein-heavy, veggie heavy, etc. You can customize it to what you want and what fits your life, such as if you are gluten-intolerant, vegan, etc.

Calories are calories...changing them doesn't help melt anything.

I don't know, I am not really an expert in dieting, because I am really not trying to diet, but tone and I do want to eat healthier. So even with the meal plan, I mean I saw the sample meal plan and I thought it sounded delicious and like something I can do. I mean I know there are a million diet things out there, and work out things, but I don't really see the hurt in trying something new if you your bored with your old routine? Some people on their Facebook page thinks it looks similar to p90x, but I know with p90x it is geared for everyone. This workout is designed just for women, and that's what I like. I have also tried Jillian Micheal work out tapes, but I never had anything to go hand in hand with it...sure I can pick up a book, and figure it out on my own, but I don't know. This seems to have everything all together in one.

Here is a sample menu of what you would get:

What Do I Eat on PINK?
