    Default Skincare regimine for eczema

I have severe eczema problems, that leads to my skin constantly having parts of my skin that are dry/flaky/scabby. It gets set off by a huge number of things including cold weather, hot weather, sweat and water. To give you an idea of how bad it is right now I've got it over my feet, calves, knees, arms, belly, cleavage, neck and pussy. Anyway, I've decided I've had enough. All the girls at work have the nicest, softest skin and I want that.

So if any of you girls have experience with eczema, can you recommend any and all skincare products and tips you have to share?

Just so you guys know things I've already attempted in the past I have tried (with limited to no success): aqueous cream, hydrous cream, shea body butter, E45, standard moisturisers, oatmeal based moisturisers and hydrocortisone cream. I currently use moistursing shower gel, facial scrub exfoliater, sensitive skin shaving gel and an anti-fungal cream. I've also just changed my diet to just fresh food in the hopes that will help.

Take essential fatty acids every day. Order sorbolene from Australia to bathe with.

    Good luck, lady-

I've got keratosis pilaris with a little eczema. Taking coconut oil internally, tanning, dry skin brushing, and not eating wheat, dairy, or gluten has gotten rid of about 80% of it.

First off I have at least 2-3 showers a day. When my excema was at its worst( all over legs, arms, buttocks, sotmach) I was introduced to African Black Soap. It worked miracales for me and my excema slowy cleared up. Its bascially a African herbal soap and the herbs soothe the skin. Paired with a gel my doctor perscribed me my excema is now under control. I still get occasianl outbreaks bu as long as i treat them with the gel fast and dont scratch i have no problem. The soap can be found at alot of black beauty supply stores or online.

Its actually more about what you eat (or don't eat) since its an autoimmune problem. No gluten, no dairy, eat a lot of oils (where regular fat is higher than saturated fat... olive oil, etc) and slather on anti-inflammatory oils on your skin just to be safe. Argan oil & coconut oil work well. Its like a genetic thing. A mutation on HLA haplotypes. They are usually set off by gluten & dairy.

My daughter gets a wash that's all-natural and organic, made for excema. The Dr also prescribed aquaphor which we also use. It's gotten rid of almost all it.

Maximum one shower a day (since water dehydrates the skin), use oil or vaseline as moisturizer and use heavier hydrocortisone (only light on your face). Tacrolimus cream sometimes works better when hydrocortisone fails. Go to a dermatologist. Good luck! It's a very annoying problem, I know.

My two girls have eczema and my oldest had it so bad as a baby she would bleed from such raw skin. She was prescribed a special mix from a dematologist but once we moved we could no longer get it made so we discovered Lush, they make dream cream which is great on both my girls and they also have a few washes, scrubs, and soaps great for skin problems. A plus is that they are organic and also vegan friendly.

Thanks for the tips girls. I've started using coconut oil and in just a couple of days it's made a huge difference. I still have some patches that are being stubborn (I think they're infected, ewww) but on the whole my skin is feeling a lot better.
