Sniffling a lot, acting hyper, and frequent trips to the bathroom can all be signs, but someone could just have a cold, be drunk or be naturally hyper, or just have to pee a lot, so it's hard to say.

Not all cokeheads are thin either. I know a couple girls who are fat (non-dancers) who do coke on a daily basis.

I bumped into a couple of these in El Paso. I was "Bitch what are you doing, putting it in your Chico's Tacos because you are the fattest cokehead I have ever seen in my life!!!"

I never shut up when I do blow.

I don't know why some people on this thread have taken to judging others for making their own decisions. It doesn't affect you. We probably don't like the way you do lots of things. If it doesn't directly affect you (and it doesn't. Don't make crap up.) then just be nice.

Did I ever tell you guys what I'm doing when I finish school? Wellllllllllll for those of you who care, I am going to work for the DEA. Intel specialist is what I want, but I wouldn't mind being an undercover agent in a strip club because holy smokes! haha just kidding. I do want to be intel though, no carrying weapons for me.

No, of course it's not a joke. I'm not naive enough to think that doing any drug once (except maybe heroin or crack) is enough to destroy your life...unless you LET it destroy your life. I already know I do not have an addictive personality, and I just don't have the type of lifestyle where any type of regular drug use or abuse is practical. But, I will say that there is a MAJOR difference between recreational drug use and drug abuse. I do not think that snorting one line would fuck up my life. I probably won't even like it...I prefer hallucinogens, myself. But I would like to try it, just to see what it's like. I'm all about experimentation and trying new things.

Okay, i understand. I'm the exact same way; or rather, was. Cocaine just has shaken my whole mindset, so naturally I just worry about it doing the same to anyone else. I wouldn't wish the ill effects of it on anyone.

I agree wholeheartedly. As another someone who doesn't have an addictive personality, I find recreational drug use to be something that enhances my life rather than detracts from it.

That describes me on stimulants to a T. That's why I don't use them anymore.

exactly!!! ummm ya as someone who is a "regular" rec drug user who functions very well thank you... I could stop tomorrow and never see a drug again no problem. Its just fun... like drinking. Actually usually a lot more fun than drinking. The difference between rec users and addicts is... rec users know there is a time and a place. For example during exams I don't even look at a drug let alone a drink for 6-8 weeks easily with no sorrow. But when its over... its on like donkey kong. Addicts cannot control their use. Just like some people can't say no to a Big Mac... some can't say no to drugs. Luckily I don't find it that hard at all if I have a responsibility ahead of me.

I have a chronic stuffy/runny nose....not sure why; just always had sinus problems. I don't even have a sense of smell.

One night, a friend of mine pulled me into the bathroom and interrogated me; she was accusing me of using cocaine because of my frequent sniffling/blowing my nose.

I told her if I was on coke, I wouldn't be in the bathroom blowing my nose...I'd be sucking that shit back up! It's too expensive!

But seriously, I show every one of those signs on a nightly basis and I've never tried coke in my life.

Fidgeting, teeth clamped together, big eyes... I do it here and there and when I've done a bit too much I start rubbing the tops of my thighs really fast with both hands simultaneously. There's this one chick that does alot at a time and she starts chewing her face and wiping the sides of her mouth every 2 mins..

but again a person just drunk could do most those things too so really you are not going to know for sure.
when I'm happy my personality is damn well gigantic (not on coke I don't do it)

^^ No drug makes everybody act the exact same way. Most people get really happy and touchy when on E - I shake violently and cry the entire time for no discernible reason. Most people also zone out when on weed - I get hyper and then, when I crash, I hate everyone.... Caffeine: wakes most people up - for me, I used to give myself a cup of coffee to put myself down for a nap cuz it makes me tired, or, in large doses (like energy drinks), I'll get sick and start heaving.... everybody reacts to drugs differently, no matter what kind they are. The only drug I have ever liked is acid, but most people would probably stay away from it.

Think about it this way: I take Adderall for my ADD, which is mixed amphetamine salts aka technically speed. However, instead of it winding me up, it slows me down and allows me to focus. If you don't have ADD, Adderall will hype you up like cocaine. Additionally: meth and coke are in no way related. Totally different compounds.

Stimulants (all of them that I have tried) relax me. Smoking pot gives me panic attacks, makes me feel really hot and makes my heart race (around 130-150bpm- it's really uncomfortable). Pseudoephedrine makes most people jittery, it makes me extremely drowsy. This is called a paradoxical reaction:

This is all why you should always try new drugs around people you trust.
