Default How "stripper" do you look when not in the club?

I'm pretty plain looking OTC. I barely wear makeup and my clothes are from places like Charlotte Russe or the like. I'll admit ITC, I'm not as stripperish as I'd like to look either but I plan to work on my image, which I know will help my confidence, once this semester is over.

So when you go to the mall or out to eat, etc, do you flaunt your designers gear? Do you look like an off duty stripper? Or do you play it low key so that no one has the slightest clue you're a stripper? (no make up, sweats, flip flops, etc.)

My goal is to "stripperfy" myself in and out of the club.
It will take time, money, healing and lots of will power to do this, but I am determined to change my life.

I definitely have a low-key look OTC and don't even own any designer gear. I don't run around in sweats and flip flops, but I don't wear make up and usually rock leggings with tunics or dresses and a hoodie. I'm also not super strippery ITC though, but I find that look works for me. I've tried plastering myself with make up and wearing different outfits, but it just feels silly and that has a negative impact on my money. I'm pretty 'girl-next-door' through and through!

I dont wear make up or high heels when im not working.Even at work im not really stripperish.I have never had a manicure, fake tan, hair extensions etc.My make up only takes 5 mins and i dont style my hair.I think that I look just as good as girls who take 3 hours getting ready and a lot of guys like girls with a more natural look.
To the OP:You shouldnt feel that because you are a stripper you need to look a certain way ITC let alone OTC.Guys like girls with different looks and many find OTT stripper style off putting.
And hell OTC who give a fuck!!Just wear what you are comfortable with.
Maybe you really want to dress more glam but since you mention 'willpower'.I dont really understand you motivation.Dont think that looking more stripperish OTC is going to change your life!!

My goal is always to look as strippery as possible at all times!
I love my long fake hair, fake nails, and gobs of makeup! I love glitter and shiny things.

Granted, I am always appropriate for the situation. No cleavage and sequins at thanksgiving dinner for example!
I've always looked up to women that were obviously gorgeous and that stand out from the crowd.

I feel weird if I go out without my hair straightened and my basic makeup done. I've worn high heels since I was allowed to, but that's because I'm hella short, plus flat shoes hurt my ankles. If I'm just running to the store or something, I generally have on sweats and flip-flops. As long as my face looks ok, I feel fine in it. I do love the feeling of having my hair, makeup, and nails done perfectly, and rocking a killer outfit though. When I have the time and motivation, I usually do it. But that's simply because I enjoy feeling like a gorgeous, put-together woman, not really because I'm trying to project to the world that I'm a stripper. It's not really my goal to "stripperfy" myself in public, but simply to look my best to feel my best on a daily basis. I've always been that way, even before I was a dancer.

I'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl, and always have been - and I'm not talking designer jeans or "J'adore Dior" t-shirts, either. I actually hate shopping in big retail stores, so I usually go thrift shopping instead. Sometimes I'll wear a little eye makeup when I'm feeling fancy.

I always sort if feel like I'm in drag when I'm all dolled up for work, but I like it that way. It helps me snap into work mode.

It depends where I'm going. There was this super fancy party that I attended...wearing a stripper gown, yet nobody got the hint that the gown I was wearing was a stripper gown that only cost me like 25 bucks (on sale at Priscilla McCalls). It was made with a good fabric and all, so that's why nobody got the hint, I think.

Other than that; I look very nerdy, with anime shirts, "emo" glasses, etc.

Im very stripperish when im OTC. I dont wear desinger but im very put together and always glam. Im talking makeup, heels and big hair. I wear lots on makeup ITC and the only diffrence with my OTC look is that im fully clothed and im not wearing fake lashes. I dont think ppl think stripper automaticly when they see me but I wouldnt be suprised if they did. I love to stand out.

Yeah not stripperish. Only difference is since dancing i often pop to the shops or wherever in trackies and no makeup. But that feels stripper to me cos it's like my off duty outfit- comfort and no hassle of doing make up. I probably just look like a bum to the shopkeep though

Depends on what I'm doing, but I do not own any designer gear, unless you count some Baby Phat stuff.

If I'm going out with other strippers, or want to rile up my hubby for a fun night, I'll look strippery. If it's just me and my daughter, or if I am just running errands, you wouldn't be able to tell I'm a stripper.

Never. There is a big difference between dressing to the nines and dressing like a stereotypical. If I am going to a nice event I'll do my hair and makeup or have it done but I'm sure this is true of any woman. However, I have worked with girls who dressed like stripper outside of the club and they just looked trashy (like what you'd see on a talk show). Generally I just dressed normal and you'd never guess I was a stripper.

ITC I look very stripperish but OTC I wear nice clothes, make-up (but no where near like ITC), my hair is usually aired dried waves, and I never wear heels anymore. I pretty much only have 1 pair I rarely wear. I have lots of cute ankle booties and small heel booties. I don't want people to look at me and think stripper so I try to do as much as I can for that to happen.

I usually wear my hair in a bun and wear no makeup outside of the club. The only clothes I own are floor legnth dresses that are relatively baggy on me, though cute. If I'm going somewhere nice, like dinner, I'll put on a pair of earrings, lol. I think people OTC think I am just a housewife.

I feel like I alreay get enough attention as a stripper, so (to me) there is no point in drawing attention to myself when I'm OTC, too. Maybe If I weren't a stripper I would put more effort into my daily appearance.

When I was dancing, I looked very low profile OTC. Work kinda took all the fun out of getting dressed up for me. The first six months I was retired, I literally wore no makeup and sweats every day. Now I do my hair nearly every day, wear basic makeup again, but am a jeans tshirt and chucks girl.

I wear so much make-up at work when I have a day off I try to avoid it. I haven't been working for two months now and only worn make-up and gotten dressed up a handful of times. Usually I'm a jeans and t-shirt girl with light make up if I go out shopping. If I'm just going to get grocerys then yeah, sweat pants and hair up to hide that I probably haven't brushed it.

I actually love going to the bank in sweatpants, old t-shirt and no make-up to deposit 2-3k to see the teller get confused.

I agree with Aurora. My goal when I'm not working isn't to look so stripper-ish that people automatically think that when they see me...but to look put together in a way that I feel good about myself. I just wanna look like me.

Having said that; if I know I'm not working (and for some reason not going to school...so basically lounging home all day), I wear sweats and hoodies all day long. If I'm going to school, or I just wanna look a little more done up for my boyfriend when we go out for dinner or something..I'll straighten my hair and wear a cute shirt, but still probably no makeup.

I definitely rock a more laid back look when I'm not working. Mostly for comfort reasons.

OTC me is like the difference between night and day from my ITC persona! For one, when I'm OTC I rock my natural fro vs the wigs I wear ITC.

I don't really wear foundation OTC unless I'm going somewhere fancy - but I do like to make my features pop a little so I almost always go out with some eyeshadow/eyeliner & lip gloss.

As for clothes, I'm not really big on name brands & am the bargain queen...I dress for comfort more than anything & like to wear the same types of things: leggings, dresses, knitted tops, etc...I also like provocative t-shirts. I don't really wear heels unless I am going somewhere nice or want to turn on the sexy for the man friend.

You definitely would have no idea I was a stripper seeing me OTC!

When I first started dancing and making real money I used to spend it all on clothes/makeup and definitely looked awesomely stripperish OTC. That died within a year or so when I got smart about my money and now I'm a plain jane bum when I leave the house. However INC I'm always done up and wouldn't go to work NOT looking done up.

ITC I have a MAC force field of makeup, hair done. OTC I probably resemble a hobo. Constantly in my Simpsons pj's and my blue zip up hoodie. I let my hair do whatever the hell it feels like doing. If I get stared at its because I look like I am living behind Kroger in a shopping cart.

One time I actually did my hair and makeup for my dayjob and one of my co-workers was raving about my eye makeup and how I learned to do it. I was super self conscious about it and realized how much makeup I wasted looking good for these girls at my vanilla job.

OTC I am probably more likely to be mistaken for a crackhead or a hobo than a stripper... When I couldn't drive my roommate used to take me to the store and stuff, he joked that it's like I'm trying to make myself as unattractive as possible.
I like to wear my boyfriend's hoodies, but he's like XXXL in men and I'm like an XS in ladies, lol. Needless to say it doesn't flatter my figure.

And when I'm going to school I pretty much roll out of bed and go.

I don't look stripperish ITC or OTC- not my style. I do, however, dress up as much as possible otc, matching short dresses with bracelets and rings/necklaces and so on. But it's more my attempt to look 'chic' or whatever with what I find at thrift stores. I generally always wear heels or some sort of elaborate/flashy flats (I just bought a pair of red velvet boots as an example).

I usually always have a flashy color of eye shadow on, concealer, light blush, lip gloss and wing-tipped eyeliner. It's heaver ITC then out.

I guess I often look kinda strippery OTC. I'm an 'all or nothing' kinda girl so either I'm gonna go through the whole hair/makeup routine or I'm gonna roll out of bed, chuck on some clothes and if I'm lucky remember to brush my hair. So if I'm not doing anything important I won't do anything about my appearance, but for anything involving socialising I go for the whole look. But to me, that's just how I like to look anyway and has nothing to do with wanting to show people I'm a stripper.

if i'm just running errands i look like a clean hobo.

if i'm meeting people for something i'll put on actual pants.

i'm lazy and i don't like attention OTC.
