I've never used the logitech pro 9000, but I would try uninstalling and reinstalling your cam? Maybe it's the same issue as with the lifecam studio 1800 that if you try to use a different USB port it will not be able to detect it anymore even if you use the same port again after the wrong one? Otherwise, I have no idea what it could be, but that's what I'd do if I were youI'm sorry I don't have a 100% answer, but I know what it's like to have those issues and I flipped out

Hello! I've used this cam before, so maybe I can help. Have you ever been able to use it on another computer or this computer before? I would try reinstalling the drivers as well as trying on another computer to see if the issue is with your cam or the computer itself.
Hi girls, thanks for your replies.
I just tried now to re-install the driver (and the clean version as they said on the logitech issue forum) but at the last step of the installation it doesnt detect my cam (infact i didnt see/hear any signal like when i usually plug it on)
I dont have another computer to try my cam on.
I used this cam just fine on this laptop like 7 hours ago...

Have you installed any external or portable hard drive? My laptop couldn't detect pro9000 after I installed WD hard drive. After googling for half a day, I found the solution is uninstalling WD software. It works like charm since then. Hope it helps.
Never used any external hard drive or similar... actually i didnt install anything except for the drivers since last time i used the webcam.
I think its just broken, looks dead.
buying another one (same model, i love it) could come in handy anyway even if i solve this issue!
I tried my ex webcam i used before the logitech and is working, but i refuse to stream with that thing ahah

uninstall and reinstall the software?

Silly question, but did you restart your computer? Mine has done something similar, and all it needed was a reboot.
^ i second this...a lot of stupid issues i have had all i needed to do to fix it was restart it.
also you can try restoring your computer to a previous date..i forget exactly where you go to do that but its somewhere in the control panel...i would set it back to yesterday or a few days before that and see if it fixes the problem.

also you said it was relatively new...is it still under warranty?
i guess you would still need to buy a new one so you could cam asap but it wouldn't hurt for them to fix that one for you or send you a new one and you would have it as a backup![]()

I deleted the driver, used the CCleaner thingie, rebooted my comp (already rebooted before), re-installed driver.
Nothing again, no signal from the cam whatsoever :/
Unfortunately it didnt come with a receipt (i bought it from ebay, shady seller?!).
