    Default Killer Whole Body Conditioning!

Just did this workout with fitness model Kelly D . It was a fun workout and productive and she looks great doing it. She’s a real trooper in the gym and has the ‘never say die’ attitude, and I know some guys who would not survive this workout at the pace and loads used.

This workout was clearly in the “no pink dumbbells zone” and women should pay close attention there. Put down the tiny dumbells, get away from the endless low intensity aerobics, and you’ll see big improvements in your body and spend less time in the gym...promise

I now have a series of these killer whole body workouts. I call it "The Gauntlet".

Whole body functional strength and conditioning mega calorie burning at its best.

I'm always looking for new victims....errr,...I mean models, who want to make exercise vids. They get good traffic, and look at my Women Specific Training vids for additional vids/info, etc.

This shit better work Will! I've been doing 2 hour sessions in the gym for 2 weeks to goose my metabolism and counteract the pernil (roast pork shoulder) I'm determined to have over the holidays. I'm going to switch to your method and see if I can cut back to just 1 hour.

Quality beats quantity every time. Watch some vids, maybe get some ideas for a few workouts to try. What do you have access to at your gym?

Well it's a hotel gym with nautilus, like the butt blaster, no free weights. Bikes, stair stepper, treadmill. That's about it. I've been doing an hour on the stair master, an hour on the treadmill, and 3 sets of 10 on the butt blaster and the one for the back of the thighs and the pull down machine for the back of the arms. My stamina is much better. At first I could only do an hour but now I roll through two like it's nothing. I started going hard on the leg muscles but I think I overdid it last session because for the first time my soreness lasted more than a day, going 3 days. For some reason I can do over a hundred lbs on the butt blaster but only 40 on the hamstring machine! IDK? I can do the arm machine and expected to be able to increase weight there by now but it still hurts like a mofo. Problem is, it's been about 3 months of slowly increasing sessions and I'm getting bored. I've switched machines, and workout music and my metabolism is up. I burn like crazy in between workouts BUT I am getting bored again.

Start looking for ways to mix it up. Change rep ranges, change the order of the exercises, the rest between sets, and other variables. Break up the program into one day resistance work, the next conditioning work. Try some HIIT. Add in some new exercises that are body weight only, like push ups, planks, etc. Consider purchasing some easy to transport stuff like a TRX suspension trainer, which allows an amazing number of exercises, works the entire body does it in minimal space. I travel with one when ever I think I may have no access to a gym, and or use one in conjunction with stuff done at the gym.

She's very strong and I like the routine. But right now I'm just using hotel gyms as I travel a lot. What do you recommended to do or take on the road - must be light though?!

That's an easy one. As I said in the post above yours: "Consider purchasing some easy to transport stuff like a TRX suspension trainer, which allows an amazing number of exercises, works the entire body does it in minimal space. I travel with one when ever I think I may have no access to a gym, and or use one in conjunction with stuff done at the gym."

Best bang for the $$$ and works essentially anywhere any place. Go HERE for more info on TRX

Thanks Will, I was debating because a trainer was suggesting I take a swiss ball on the road. But I'm going to my friends gym tomorrow which just got trx so i'll give it a try!

As you can easily see, the TRX offers FAR more true whole body training than any ball and takes up far less room when you're done with it as it packs up into a small carry bag.
