    Default New Possible Payment Processors

Due to paypal's recent regretsy fuckup, a lot of people are finally talking openly about alternatives to use. So far, I've seen these named so far, and more are sure to come up:

V.me - Run by VISA, doesn't have any anti-adult material clauses in its TOS
Dwolla - allows chargebacks from what I can see
Netswipe - appears to let you send invoices and allows customers to pay by photographing their card, which we don't see
Buysimple - could be good, no signup, only requires facebook connect (?!) which could be okay if we can sign in as pages instead of people
YouTipIt - A tipping system based on bitcoins, if you swing that way. Chargebacks unsupported. They say they don't allow pornographic transactions, but it could be a good way to encourage independent tipping. They pay out through Paypal
Flattr - another tipping system that lets you tip pretty much Any Thing on the internet. sort of a monthly subscription thing. You tell it how much to disburse monthly, and flattr away. The amount is divided by the amount of flattrclicks. Withdraws to Paypal OR Moneybookers
WePay - mediation for chargebacks, obscenity clause, nothing against adult/sexual services

So let's gather information on these!

yesssss, this is so great! I found Dwolla TOS at the registration page, and it doesn't mention any anti-adult material.

I like the one where you take a pic of your card because it seems very simple. May turn custies off though because, well, its a picture of your card lol. Can't wait to research all these fun options =)

v.me says it'll be opening up sometime next year.

Nothing SRS srs happened with paypal, but basically regretsy was taking donations to use to buy toys for poor kids, and paypal said that was suspicious and froze their account and it pissed off a SHITLOAD of people, a lot of whom permanently closed their accounts afterward. If you want to know more about it, just googling regretsy and paypal together will give you a fuckton of results.

I'm definitely going to go for v.me and probably dwolla. I'm also considering WePay and encouraging guys to use Flattr
