Default Better to stay on through the slow times or log off?

I just started *attempting* at camming full-time, but now I'm wondering if it's even possible to do when I log off of MFC after two hours of low earnings to prevent my camscore from dropping (I just got it up from 650 to 1150. Should I just stick to my schedule to build customers, or am i doing this right? I only log off if I'm making about half or less than my recent average. I'm still waiting on Streamate to approve me so I have no backup, I just work on my blog or content in the time I'm "supposed" to be camming if it's slow on there. I just put my son in daycare btw so I only really have from 8am-2pm PST to work...

depends on the site. on mfc, sometimes it IS better to log off during slow times - but i've also heard people say it's good to put in 4 hours a day or so in the beginning to build up customers. on most other sites it's worth sticking it out because you don't have to worry about camscore - although sometimes if i know it'll pick up again in a couple of hours i'll take a break or a nap when it's slow on streamate.

Much as possible. Yes, there are many girls that will tell you to log off, but seriously, your camscore isn't THAT important as long as you are not below 800 or so!

If you have other stuff to do to earn money, then by all means log off - you could film content, edit content, or even try another site. As long as you are doing something that could potentially earn you money, I think thats ok. Or, take a little break to have lunch, go to the gym, or do something else that you had planned to do during the day, and then get back on again. But by no means should you be on for less than an hour and log off because it is "quiet".

I don't know how the MFC girls do it. They are way more hardcore than me. I can't even imagine having to both hustle and worry about my cam score!

MFC is definitely a little more difficult. I always stick it out for four hours, though. Just have to look happy and giddy no matter what. . guys will come if you are positive. My camscore went up by 1150 in a week by doing that. It is definitely a lot more work tho, I find myself working on myfreecams stuff outside of work, even though I am only on there 8-12 hours a week. I always getting on the exact same time as my regulars. It helps though, it really does! I can make 2000 tokens an hour on good days as of now. . just be positive, stick it OUT, and stick to a schedule. You can do it! And if you are on Streamate like I am a million hours out of the week, haha, I stick it out then, also. Just experiment with different times and see what works best for you.

Hmm I think I'll stick it out for now on and try to manage 5 hours a day M-F. Either way it's a gamble..if I log off after getting no tips then I'm guaranteeing my camscore will drop, but if I stick it out for a bit it's 50/50...could drop more, but it could have the chance to improve, like today! Made it to 1300 yay, halfway to my goal of 2k for the month (started in the 600's)! :] Idk why but camscore is almost like a game for me, it makes MFC fun and I know my reward is better placement, more visitors, and thus better earnings so the best part of my day is seeing my numbers go up lol.

As addictive as camming on MFC can be, I've made a rule to stay on for at least 2 hours straight. There have been many times when it'd be extremely slow, then near the end tips would roll in.

I really do not recommend logging off of MFC after only 15 minutes. Even models with 5-digit cam scores have moments where they've gone 15 minutes without tips.....I've seen it happen.

Another thing you should do when you feel it's about time to go is post one of those timer emotes. There's a 5 minute timer, 10 timer, and I think a 1 minute timer. If you don't get anymore tokens by the time it's gotten down to 0:00, log off. So you can post the timer emote and say "_____ minutes til I log off. Your tokens will make me stay longer!" or something like that. Here are the timer emote codes:

I used to log off when I felt like the day was going was too slow, but that never contributed to my money or my camscore.

I began to stay on even when it was slow because eventually people would come to my room.

And after a bit I built up regulars. Now every time I log on, they do too

However, I will log off when my regulars are there and it's still slow. But those days are rare.

Yay! Thank you! I needed this, I had some people accuse me of spamming my own room the other day when I kept updating my topic (15min,10,5..) Jerks...I never log off after 15min, it's if I go an hour making only like $5, but sticking through it is best since I just changed my name after taking a 4 month break and I have next to no regulars...
