Default Do you believe in tipping Karma?

Do you tip outside of work? Like maybe a waitress or waiter at a restaurant, the pizza guy that delivers your pizza, the busker playing his guitar on the street, etc.
I have a belief that its nice to keep the whole tipping cycle going when i'm not working and when I have the chance to tip someone I think deserves it, I do.
I figure that I rely on tips and the sometimes "luck" of finding a customer that gives me great tips on a slow night, that i should keep it going.
Im not saying this is wrong or right it's just a thing i have always done and i wonder if other girls do the same…..

I made the "tipping Karma" thing up lol, what I mean to say is do you keep the whole tipping cycle going when your not at work......

Not because I believe in "tipping Karma," but moreso because it is standard practice to do so.

I don't believe in tipping karma but tip more bc I make a lot of $. Also people that should be tipped should be tipped ie waitress, pizza guy...
Only she who attempts the absurd can achieve the impossible.

I tip well the people who deserve to be tipped, but I always leave a tip where it's expected (food service, delivery, taxi, etc.) unless the service is way below what's expected. I don't do it in the hopes of getting tipped well in the future, I just do it because that's how society works. I much prefer the countries where tipping isn't expected or the norm!

dont usually carry this through to the club, even though i tip buskers and great services. its not really the norm here in sydney.

i used to get the custys to tip the girls the waitress and everyone and when i was up there the customer gave the girls sitting with them money to tip me n they just put them in their garter.
so i believe in each for their own.
used to be the same way about sharing dances with other girls. maybe 1 out of 15 dances i got another girl in on returned the favour even though they had plenty of opportunities.
FUCK YEAH finally retired after 6 years dancing!!

i don't think karma is the word you're looking for but i understand what you're asking.

i believe that generosity is part of a wealth mentality. so yes, i tip everyone, but more importantly, i am extremely charitable. that is a bigger display of wealth, imo, than tipping a barback or some shit like that.

i try to do something charitable every day before work because like attracts like and generosity attracts generosity.

I am completely alone at the gas station. My gas was 40$ I gave him 45$ he said this is to much in his Indian accident I said no its for u being an amazing person n he kissed my hand n looked like he was gonna cry. Give love to feel love people. ! So important. !

I know that I make more money than a lot of people, I don't think I would make a lot of money as a greedy person. so karma for me = life

I do! What comes around, goes around. If the service is at least average, I always tip a little extra. I'll ask myself "Whats an extra dollar or two to you worth?" Instead of tipping the waiter $7, I'll throw in the extra $3 and give them a 10. I have always been in positions where I greatly appreciate a nice tip (ooohh that sounds kinda naughty!!) No but really, when a guy gives me an extra 20 after a $100 VIP, that is the average 20% gratuity rate. And I really really appreciate it. I do the same for the people that serve me. Those extra dollars add up!

Now if the service is shit, then don't expect a penny from me I have been know to right "smile" on the tip-line on a sales receipt. But there has only been a handful of times where I have not tipped a person that has served me. Like the nail lady that burned my upper lip while waxing it, or the bartender that told me she just asked if I wanted another and rolled her eyes when I tried to order another drink.

I don't do it because I believe in karma - but just because I know how it feels to rely on tips. I'll give a minimum tip (meaning 20%) if the service is at least sub-standard. But I'm always very generous with workers who go above and beyond. I know it's their livelihood, plus, I've worked as a server before, so to not tip well makes me feel like an asshole because that's how I always viewed customers who didn't tip me well. Not really a "karma" thing, just a "I've walked in those shoes" thing - kinda like how I'm always very nice to salespeople, even if I don't buy anything, because I've been a salesperson and have experienced the side of people just being completely rude and inconsiderate to salespeople for no other reason than they "don't like salespeople," or I'm always very patient and gracious in the fast food drive-thru because I know what it's like to get yelled at by some snobby bitch in daddy's car about how long her burger is taking.... I think being in a variety of customer-related jobs has really made me a much nicer person out in the service world, because I understand the other side of things. So I don't do it for karma, I just do it out of understanding and wanting their day to be brighter from having a good customer.

Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

Thankyou! yes thats what i'm trying to get across. I didnt include charity but thats another way. I guess my main focus is about the art of giving and taking and its great to keep that going.
I often tip people and i see that they really appreciate it. I think the money is nothing but for them i could have made their day better when they needed it.
When I am sitting with a customer and the waitress brings him his drink and change, I always politely say "oh you must tip this one, she's gorgeous" and they always leave the change there. You got to keep the tipping love happening!!!

What I DON'T believe in is having to tip people when a) they don't deserve it and b) they demand it. For example, I used to work at a club who hired a DJ that also thought it was his job to tell each of us what was wrong with our bodies (too much cellulite, too short, too puffy of nipples, ugly vagina, the list goes on an on...). So not only would he cut us down, but he would come to each of us at the end of his shift (even if we were with a custie in VIP!) and ask for his tip. Even if it was a slow day and we couldn't pay our house fee, he expected a out of pocket tip. Its people like him that make me HATE having to tip in the club.
OMG... thats terrible, what a horrible DJ. No he definately does not deserve our tipping love!!

While tipping isn't really a part of our culture here in Australia, I will always leave a few extra dollars for my waitress/cab driver/etc (unless they're awful!). I'm on a tight budget myself, but I believe what goes around comes around.

I used to work in customer service, so I have fairly high standards that I expect them to meet up to. I make it very, very clear what I want, so if they have a problem giving that to me, I tend to be less generous with my tipping. A smile, friendly hello and sincere effort to please will go a LONG way though and in general, I tip extremely well. Like $10 on a $20 bill.

Likewise, I know what a bitch it is to survive purely off of tips alone and I'm deeply sympathetic. I treat everyone in the club as I would like to be treated. Since the bouncers and the DJ can make or break me, I take very good care of them and they take very good care of me. OTC, I really admire people who truly put forth the effort to make sure I receive quality service--they deserve to be tipped well.

And yes, I believe a positive attitude and generous nature will come back and you will be rewarded. That's not why I do it, but it's nice when it comes back to you once and a while and you're surprised by a really great tip!

"Here's a tip- you'll never get laid with that attitude!"

That's disgusting. DJs piss me off in a severe way sometimes, and whenever they do, I find an excuse to go to their booth and crop dust the fuck out of them. That guy's just a sandy little asshole.

I have stretchmarks on my butt and boobs, some cellulite on the inside of my thighs, my teeth are just slightly crooked, I have a bigger nose, (which I actually like) I feel like I have a really weird jaw line, I look like a 10 year old boy without makeup, my nipples are dark---and so is my asshole. I have naturally blonde eyebrows but dark hair. I have really bony fingers. Even though I only weigh 100 lbs, I still have love handles. (wtf??) The list goes on, and on, and on, and on.

I can tell you one thing though.....

I love my vagina. Not too meaty, but still mature.

Kidding...the point is, go find your perfect woman and someone will say she's hideous. And men, who have hair growing out of the strangest orifices, are always gassy, have that weird looking elephant trunk fuckin thing between their legs, always forget to flush when they poop, have the worst morning breath, never have to watch their skin stretch and tear from producing children and are pretty much the most unattractive beings to walk the earth, have no damn business pointing out our flaws.

    ....I swear, I'm not really a lesbian.

Karma is bullshit. Plenty of people are assholes 100% of the time and get everything they want!
But I do tip very well. I'm just nice that way.

I believe in karma in general but not tipping karma. I've overtipped many times and have tipped normal too, and both times I still get tipped the same usual way by customers at work. Waiters/tresses at restaurants usually think that customers are assholes and prob say in their head "fuck that asshole he just made me go get an extra spoon". I can read people's minds. I know how waiters think. Maybe that is why I don't overtip them. If a person sends out positive energy then it will reflect back like a mirror and attract positive outcomes and people.

Dancing has absolutely made me a better tipper. I would say I used to tip 80% of the time before I danced.

Now I tip all the time, unless I get exceptionally bad service. I badgered my gf into doing so too and now she tips even when I don't think someone deserved it.

I tip well at restaurants or places where I know the staff.
I don't tip at my local bar though, as they get so much custom from me anyway. We don't have such a tipping culture here.

Maybe thats why Im lucky because I always tip well, but not for that sole reason. I remember once I was at a restaurant and this young girl was complaining how she was having a bad day etc. So I left her a huge tip honestly because I didnt have anything smaller lol, well she was so estatic and grateful that it made me happy. Ever since then I always tip well especially if they deserve it because you never know what someone is going through and how that can make their day better.

Well said ... Something so simple and small to us can make such a difference to someone else and make their day... Same goes with us, it's so important to remember that
I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.”

I always tip well because I love the feeling when I'm tipped well.
Dj's are a different story. This one dj thought I was new to the game and demanded a $20 tip for every bed dance I had sold that night (the club makes 50 per bed dance as it is). Boy was he surprised when I laughed in his face and handed him a $5. I made close to a G that night too.
If he hadn't been such a greedy liar he would have gotten tipped more than what I "owed" him.
