    Default Browser problem on IMlive

Yesterday I started at IMlive, for streaming live video.
with Explorer and Firefox the show is very slow and doesn't "stream"
With Google Chrome it does, but the problem is that I then cannot type text to users that do not have sound enabled.

Has anyone experienced the same problem and maybe found a solution for it?

I found that clearing cookies and all the jazz they tell you to do seems to help. Also make sure you have the latest adobe flash as part of the browser you are currently using.

You should do this for each browser you want to try using I am using chrome http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

When you do the flash download make sure to close and restart the browser and then when you log into the imlive host area TRY to select a lower setting than what it is currently set to for the hd settings. Click the link below the start show button to do that. You might be using to high of a setting for the hd streamer for a slower pc possibly.

Ok also for some reason the site also has a separate setting area within the page where you stream to customers. the bottom left box "Settings" You may have to change the webcam device even if you had it set correctly the last time you stream as well as clicking the webcam settings box within that settings box as well and you will get an adobe pop and from there you will need to make sure to select Allow and check the box for remember, as well as select the correct cam device and microphone.

Thx Alex, I tried the "cookie-thing" but did not understand that I had to do that every time before logging in. I will then and thank you for the other points, I follow them as well !

Sorry to be bumping such an old thread, but I just wanted to say that I also had problems streaming on ImLive with Google Chrome. I absolutely love Google Chrome, but when I'm camming on ImLive I have to use Firefox for it to work normally.

Even Firefox wont do the trick for me at IM, only IE (slow and memory eating worthless program) lets me be able to keep typing after switch to pvt or back.

It is now so slow on IM that I dont bother anymore, just guest and hardly any member, so i keep with SM where i can use GC
