    Default Magic Makeup Remover

I don't know how many of you know this but I feel like this is in need of saying, no, shouting to the general female public.
OLIVE OIL IS THE BEST MAKEUP REMOVER EVAR.
*can be substituted with veggie oil or other oil, I guess.

I would add coconut oil. Works like a charm, is very gentle, extremely good for you and doesn't clog your face.

I think this is more suited for body business not CC.

my fave is a mix of castor oil and olive oil massage it in - it removes makeup and pulls out impurities, helps with blackheads, etc. then rinse. sometimes i combine with a sugar or rice scrub.

mia, you can buy coconut oil online (amazon sells it) or at a natural foods store. the best is organic unrefined.

Good idea. I use witch hazel as a toner between cleansing and moisturizing. I'll try this combination

Right now I use Crabtree and Evelyn Gardner's Hand Therapy lotion to remove my make-up. It's not real oily and it smells like fir needles. I've also used cold cream BEFORE washing my face (it contains petroleum so you don't wanna leave it on). For cleansing, toning, moisturizing I prefer Dr. Hauschka or John Masters (when I can afford it), and for exfoliating I LOVE derma E microdermabrasion scrub.

I use coconut oil on a moisssssssssst (for the girls who hate the word ) cotton pad, it's great. I am really reluctant to put chemical ingredients around my eyes and this works better anyway.

Try baby wipes, since I know you all have them laying around anyway. It works great for removing makeup, especially really difficult eye make up and won't leave your face looking like a french fry.

um, oil doesn't leave your face looking like a french fry if you wash it off properly. castor oil + olive oil once rinsed doesn't make your skin greasy at all.

Any oils bother my eyes..am a bit reluctant to use around my face too. although I know Shu- Umera has a popular face cleansing oil, also dhc.com, another Japanese company, they're much more affordable than Shu, they will give a few free samples out..
Using a commercial type cleanser, it's more water soluable..oil clogs the tear ducts.
I do use oil oil on my hands/hair though.

OMG - and ladies please, if you haven't already, try using hair conditioner to shave your chooch!
You will never, and I mean NEVER, put shaving cream anywhere near there again! It's a freakin' miracle worker. Just make sure you let it sit/absorb a few minutes before you start shaving!

    YOU CAN THANK ME LATER.

Honestly Mia it hurts, but not near as bad as screaming pain. For me it was the grit your teeth and inhale kind of pain. A word of warning though if you do get brave enough to do it. Do not let them use baby oil to remove the wax! It'll clog all those freshly opened pores. The other thing is go home immediately and scrub the area with facial cleanser made for acne and a facial buffer pad. You have to make sure all the impurities and dead skill cells get off that area or massive breakout.

Ive been using conditioner since forever.....half cause Im cheap and half cause it works super well. On the general, I do prefer shaving gel, but if I run out, or when Im traveling...cond works very well...

Not all oils clog the pores btw...some like shea butter sink into the skin, you dont rinse it off and just makes it feel soft with no oily touch to it at all. Its especially good for people with dry skin who have little to no natural oils.....that skin type is what gets wrinkles faster, and why people with oily skin also have amazing looking skin when they are older, oil really does protect the skin cells.

I also use coconut oil to remove my makeup. I slather it all over my face and then work it into my eyelashes, then I wash everything off with natural soap and moisturize. Since I've made the switch to coconut oil and all natural soap/lotion, I don't have acne or dry skin anymore.

Totally used the witch hazel olive oil concoction and it is awesome. I've never had so much fun taking OFF makeup before!

Mmm, I'm going to try this. I also keep wanting to try that laser hair removal down there for a more permanent solution. Supposedly it's relatively safe and painless, almost no recovery time, and only takes a few sessions to be hair free for good. I found a reputable local place offering it for $50 per session for bikini area for new customers, and $100 for brazilian.

The hair conditioner as shaving cream thing is nothing new, I've been hearing about that since high school. Not a fan of it either, doesn't allow for a close shave.

I was totally unimpressed with the Shu Umera green face cleansing oil. It has mineral oil in it! Not all that either...

Try a mix of jojoba oil, extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil and sesame oil with warm water and a good facecloth to wipe off after 2 minutes. Its amazing.
