    Smiley Seattle Club Licensing

If you're renewing your license in Seattle, Pandora's Cabaret is off setting the cost by offering four nights of free house.

I felt compelled to post because this is absolutely unheard of in Seattle!

They have a flat rate of $110 with no drink or dance fees, and tipping is not mandatory.
    Do the math.

Ask me questions if you're vistiting or moving to Seattle soon.

A license in the Seattle city limits is around $200.

    I pm'd you... possibly interested.

Does the license need to be renewed after January 1 2012? Or can I get it Wednesday and have it last a year? Not sure how it works...

    Thanks!

No it isn't. My club offers two free days and my husband's offers three. Neither club has dance cuts, only VIP cuts (which are low and reasonable). Tipping isn't mandatory and any employee found tip mongering from the girls is terminated. As for drinks- you don't have to get them, but if you want them they lower your house fee.

I'm not saying don't explore your options in the area. By all means everyone should work in a place that's best for them. But don't think that these policies are "unheard of", because they aren't.

When I worked at The Sands, management offered one day free house to those dancers re-newing their entertainer's license before New Years eve.

I don't know if they are still doing it, but a friend still working there said that the house fee has been lowered. The Sands always had the highest house of any club in the Seattle area and when the economy went sour, I really stressed about the payment.

Clubs in the Seattle area never budged when it came to fees. If you couldn't pay, you signed an IOU. I'm glad that they're a little more flexible now.
