    Default Email schedule to customers??

    Hi everybody!!!

Newbie here. In the shifts i've done recently some customers who bought dances seemed to really want to know when I was working next. As I was new I wasn't sure and thus possibly lost some easy potential moolah.

I was just wondering how safe/wise it would be to set up a free email account under my stripper name etc and to email those who are keen and give me their contact details, to know my up coming shifts?

I was just thinking I might be able to get some regulars slightly easily-er or is it too much effort/unsafe/looked down-upon/not allowed?

I tried to search for a thread relating to my question, but was without luck. Apologies if there is a relevant thread.

    Thanks guys!

I totally did this. I think as long as you aren't just sending out a mass email with your schedule to all of your contacts, it can be very effective. Personalize individual emails (ie. use their name and comment about something you've talked about) and encourage them to come in on your slow shifts especially. This is a fantastic method of cultivating regulars. Just make sure to establish some boundaries - like if they're emailing you daily, there's no need to respond to them every time. But every week or so (especially if they're coming to see you weekly or so) is totally acceptable, I'd say.

Use http://dancerdetails.com and refer your customers there for your schedule. It's a great site for dancers! I use it with a lot of success, and I don't have to hassle with e-mail and weird/unwanted requests from customers.

i actually gave my email address (the one i use for craigslist and silly bullshit like that) to a customer and he hacked it. which is exciting for me, only because the next time he comes into the club, it will be fun to watch management "deal" with him.

but i think a work phone is better, easier, cleaner, etc.

if you do send out a mass email, make sure you "BCC" and not "CC". BCC doesn't show everyone else's emails to each other.

I do a lot of emailing customers. But that hacker thing kinda scared me!! I don't have any real info but I'm sure he wouldn't want to see that I'm sending emails to all these guys..

I send personal emails when I haven't seen a guy for a while and bug them to come in, won't tell him schedule until he responds back and asks, so it seems like we're making a personal appointment. The important part is to write them AFTER you see them too, otherwise they'll feel like you roped him in and got your money and it's done. You'd be surprised how many customers are scared of being traced via email.

ETA, I offer it to guys who buy a VIP and are easy to dance for or at least pay out the ass to be grabby. You're setting yourself up for frustration if you give it to every guy that asks. If he spends $100 or more on you in dances or VIP it's one thing, but if a guy just bought a dance or two, or he was pestering you for extras or touching a lot, tell him maybe next time that you want to see him again and get to know him better. You'll have better luck getting him back in that way then talking to him after hours. You have to train guys to be big spenders, if he realizes he can get your email for $20 the same as the guy that spends $500 then whats the point to spend more?
