To keep things in perspective, the LogiTech C910 is considered to be the 'Cream of the CRAP' as far as webcams go. Yes it delivers a lot of performance ( relatively speaking ) for a comparatively very low price. But it has a fixed focus lens, it can't really even keep up with 'standard' 780p streaming video frame rate requirements etc. While this level of performance is still fairly well accepted by webcam customers, that may not be the case 6 months or a year from now.
Unfortunately, upgrading to a true HD capable camera with a true camera quality adjustable focal length lens, like the SONY EVI series or the Point Grey Flea 3, involves price tags that are 5 times as high as the LogiTech C910.
