    Search I need an umbrella

The last rain storm killed my umbrella.

All of the ones on amazon cost $30+.... and I find totes brand umbrellas to be really flimsy.

Can you suggest a brand that is worthy of my hard earned $?

I like collapsible umbrellas with a little button on the handle that make the umbrella pop out (and back).

    Thoughts?

Looks like slowpoke got you covered on umbrellas. I just wanted to add one suggestion. You should try rain jackets. I totally prefer them over umbrellas because I do not have to hold them and plus, I do not have to worry about them getting knocked out by heavy winds.

Rainsuit, i.e. hooded jacket and pants is even better if you can dress casually. If not a full length raincoat is good too.

ok I know that they're expensive but definitely get a Fulton umbrella. They dry in like, 30 seconds, they raise and lower themselves with the push of a button and it is actually impossible for them to turn inside-out in the wind:

the small ones are also really, very small.

LOVE my umbrella! I picked it up at Boscovs for $30, and it's the best 30 I've ever spent. It's a very hardy bubble umbrella-also known as a birdcage. I prefer them to normal umbrellas because if it's windy AND rainy, it keeps the rain from hitting my face, wrecking my hair, etc. And it's next to impossible for them to get turned inside out.

I get so many compliments whenever I carry it.
