I agree; bring healthy snacks to ward off hunger. And warning about almonds, since someone brought them up...I used to eat nuts to help me GAIN weight. It's good, healthy fat, but fat nonetheless. Calorie free snacks such as celery produce negative calories, because you burn calories while you chew it. If need be, slab a little peanut butter on there. Again, kind of fatty, but nutritious and may encourage you to eat healthier, so the benefits kind of outweigh the costs. Eating during intense exercise, i.e dancing, is bad anyway. Try to eat a couple of hours before you come to work and avoid snacking altogether.
Eat small, frequent meals throughout the day. This encourages proper digestion and helps give your metabolism a boost. Which brings me to my next point....
Do not eat ANYTHING right before you go to bed, especially not a large meal. You do not digest while you sleep, therefore everything you've eaten is sitting in there, with no purpose other than to put some extra weight on you. Eat your last meal no less than 3 hours before you sleep.
Do you do pole tricks? If not, start doing them. Pole tricks will strengthen in your muscles and rapidly burn fat and the best part is, each trick targets a certain point of your body and you can therefore customize your workout routine. If so, do not pick up any other intense workout routine outside of the pole. If you're working 3 or 4 days a week and doing pole work during each shift, that IS your workout. How do you feel when you go home? If you're sore and aching....good! That means what you're doing is working. No? Well, it's time to learn some more advanced stuff and/or build up your stamina. You are getting very little exercise by just touching your boobs and rolling around on stage.....get on the pole and work out girl! PS, I actually do a cardio routine and run outside of work, but I'm an exercise nut and I feel like crap otherwise. But don't underestimate how hard the pole works your body.
Have realistic expectations. Bear in mind that as a woman, you are supposed to have a higher body fat percentage and it's unhealthy to lose that at a certain point. If you're craving rock hard abs and killer biceps like professional athletes, remember that they have to face the threat of health problems to go along with that....the two biggest examples being osteoporosis and infertility. Do some research and really put some thought into what a healthy weight loss would be for you, if you haven't already.
