VS Media/Video Secrets/Flirt4free

Hello everyone...

I am new to Stripper Web, nice to know there is a good network for girls out there to help us out and make sure we aren't getting ripped off heheh!

I was wondering, has anyone signed up for VideoSecrets/Flirt4free/VS media directly? Did you do it through webcam4money.com?

I am asking because I am a new webcam model and I made the unfortunate mistake of signing up for 5pointsmodels.com, unaware that they were a studio. There I was making 23.3% commission.

I was wondering, does anyone know the commission rate if I get rid of the studio and apply to be a model to VideoSecrets/Flirt4free/VS media directly? I would very much like to know because I'm feeling really disheartened working under 5points knowing I am getting such a small percentage.

PS I am aware that MFC provides the best payout percentage on the web. They look cool! I already have a bit of an established customer base on Flirt4free + like the interface etc so I really want to work for them, I just want my commission percentage to be higher, if at all possible if I go directly to the cam site.

I havent logged in there for well over a year so my info could be outdated - I think the bottom was 26% and you made more based on your sales per pay period - I liked their interface too but after party chat started I got an account at streamate and quit logging on there - the money was way better for me on streamate

Were you hired directly by flirt4free or video secrets or webcam4money or whom?

I wonder if you can log back in and check, I am dying to know because I am about to cancel my account and start a new one and kind of want to know if its worth it. Any concrete insight would be very helpful

Your signed to a studio. Even if you quit, the company cant hire you without the studio getting it's cut.

Never worry, your cam customers will find you no matter what network you go to.

Better off quitting & going to other cam networks.

Plus you should have directly asked Video secrets or READ your contract. I am sure the details about quiting and trying to sign up directly for the company are in it.

when i quit logging in there and went to sm several customers found me and i never told any of them - so chances are good yours will find you too - hopefully your same name will be available

Low for direct sign up. Who are your checks from? I believe mine said VS Media or VS

I signed up with Flirt4Free (Webcam4Money) directly and they put me on a scale from 22.40% to 26.66% depending on how much I earn in gross sales. I have to earn $10,001 per pay period to earn 26.66% so it's basically impossible! Unfortunately, I don't think the studio is the issue here but rather F4F is just super greedy!!! I know they pay their big studios more than solo models so studios could possibly pay the same or more. I know most pay way less so I'd avoid them just in case, especially since none will tell you their rate until AFTER you sign up. I made the mistake of signing up for .com and they took frickin 15% for doing NOTHING!!! When I went to Streamate directly they told me I couldn't for a year because I had already signed with IM My questions are:

1) Did you say 26.66% was your bottom scale?? If so, I think I might be getting ripped off. Does anyone know if F4F pays different models different rates for some reason? Again, I'm definitely not with a studio and even contacted my rep at studios.vs.com to be sure.

2) Has anyone heard of ScoresLive.com? I'm probably not going to stick with F4F anyways because there are too many beggars/demanders and they don't allow music (WTF?) Not to mention their rates suck ass. I was super busy on IM but was only getting 20% and now I have to wait a year. Need something profitable in the mean time.

I received checks from them and they said VS or VS Media - do you get checks ?

I work for flirt, and 23% is a studio paying you. I would contact them directly and ask for help - I know they sometimes switch models to direct accounts if they have a reason. I make more than 26% and work direct FYI - even if you go to webcam4money, if you were directed by a studio, the studio is still the one paying you and taking a cut. Stick with flirt! I love it there - all the models, staff and customers are awesome.

My checks say VSMedia on them so pretty sure I'm not with a studio. My guy friend joined today too and I made sure he didn't even visit any other sites besides Flirt4Free and his rate is the same as mine. Sooo...I guess I'm being ripped off!!! Do you know if they bump up pay if you ask them to?? No reason I should be making less than other models who are direct. Even if they pay a little over 26%, still terrible even compared to SM's crappy 35%. At least I think so. Do you know anything about ScoresLive.com? Site looks pretty legit and there are usually a lot of models in Private. I appreciate your help!

Plus I think that most of these guys are signed up for more than one site anyway, so there's probably a lot of cross-over traffic.

I started off at flirt4free.....I was good after a few weeks....I started to make really decent money. They also recorded your privates, increasing your sales. That was nice to make money literally while you sleep. I do like to setup and their webcam models area is nice to connect with other models. Also, they had trips and stuff to meet. The sense of community is a cool addition.....felt like a "real" employer. What I did not like was the percentage paid and at that time you have to make like $200 to receive a check or the money rolled over. Not cool to me, because what if you barely work one week- you want your money now! Their pay period was also every 2 weeks. Again, it was my 1st wecam job, so it was a great learning lesson....some of this stuff may have changed by now. The loophole to studios is - BE YOUR OWN studio.!!! You can have 2 logins. hehe.There are regular models who been there for a while who make great money, but that is like any site. Regulars, Regulars, regulars. I am just coming back to the game, and hate I left.....it take patience day after day to get good regulars sometimes.

No..F4F isn't a studio..just pays like one Definitely the lowest % in the industry although they do have among the highest $ per minute so you get more for less work (and a less throbbing cooter at the end of the day lol) Also hate that they won't remove your VODs if requested and if you quit, you don't get paid for your VODs anymore!

F4F is one of the sites Video Secrets posts models on. The studios were setup thru/on Video Secrets if I recall correct.

Flirt4Free is the main site for VideoSecrets - traffic isn't bad for me, but I'm also regular - they have a model score called a powerscore that updates every 7 days, so if you don't login, your score drops etc until you start working again. Like BellaK said, it has a really good vibe, one of the reasons it's my main site, and I make good money. They do pay less % wise, but the customers are quality (long shows yay!), and I can charge a bunch per minute and make the same as someone getting a higher % on another site. I think because they charge more, the customers feel like they're getting more bang for their buck too by the models being more interested in getting to know them, but that could just be me.

As for VOD - I make decent on them, and I know some models have had their VOD removed when they left the site, so I'm sure you could too GirlNextCam. As for your moola - I would email flirt directly and see what they say about your % - 26 is usually the minimum not the max.

I was on F4F but I think it was through VS. I thought it was a studio, so I cancelled my account. Plus, I found them to be rather pushy. I may apply again if these other sites I applied to don't work out for me. Need something better than MFC and SM!

Thanks for your help Carolina The site does have a great vibe and the shows are way longer. With (SM), I found that the shows were like 5-15 mins average and on F4F they're 20-30ish with some being a couple hours or more of just chatting. Seems like a lot more horny young guys on SM who just want to get off which left me really sore after the end of the day. Shows are farther between but I think it balances out. If you like really fast pace work, F4F isn't for you. Btw, the powerscore updates supposedly every 15 minutes so you know where you stand but takes into account your performance over a 7 day period. So if you're gone 7 days, I guess it drops back down to nothing. I also love the contests there, except for the fact that it seems like the same 2-4 models win every contest which kinda sucks and makes me not even want to try!

LOL I know what you mean about same models winning contests! Sometimes they do contest with like 10 winners, or random draw, so that helps too.
