    Default Daywear

I would love to be more chic with my day to day errand running. But if I'm not getting dressed up to go out at night I have no idea where to start. I'm usually in leggings and workout clothes or worse off sweats! I'm lazy and I'm making it a new years res. to look more put together and lady like.

Any ideas or fashionistas that can help me I'm not trying to spend a crazy amount of money either.

Keep in mind I think I dress down so much since my boobs are enormous and fake. I usually throw on a big jacket to hide them.

I rock leggings on a daily basis, and I find that, when paired with a cute tunic/short dress, they can really make you look chic. I often have people compliment me on outfits I literally just threw on because leggings tend to look more put-together than jeans. Maybe toss on a nice necklace or scarf as well, and you look pretty chic with minimal effort.

I'm 5'8" so I just wear nice flats or cute boots, depending on the weather. If I was shorter and heels wouldn't make me tower over the rest of the population, I would definitely wear them though! You can still look chic and put-together without heels, if that's what you're asking though. Nice shoes are nice shoes, whether they have a heel or not.

I like the leggings idea! I'm the same, I have no idea how to dress when it doesn't involve going to work. I usually put on sweatpants or jeans, and a cute shirt, and still manage to look messy instead of chic, argh!

I always feel a little more girly when I wear lacy tanks. You can find them at any price, really. Stores like Target and Kohl's have them, as do higher end places. I love leggings too and you can find some of them in neat patterns if it's not too cold for that sort of thing where you live. I think tunics look cute with leggings, but if you feel like wearing a normal length shirt, you could get some black shorts to go with the leggings. Some basic makeup goes a long way too. Also, in my opinion buns/braids/hair down often looks better than a ponytail.

I usually remind myself of people I might run into that I don't wanna look like a slob for. What if you see that hot guy? What if your out and someone texts you to meet for coffee. If I put those ideas in my head Ill put in more effort. Im not sure what country you're in but I always found H&M great for inexpensive clothes. Im a bit of guess junkie myself and I usually pick summer dresses cause they are comfy but still look like Im trying.

i am not sure what state or area you are in but sometimes consignment stores can have cute/chic outfits...you can tend to find nicer clothing than you would find at a thrift store since the clients want/get money for their clothing that sells.. In Wisconsin we have a place called Plato's closet and they have pretty neat stuff.

I wear skinny jeans every day. Often with skate shoes and a t-shirt, but it only takes a pair of black boots/ballet flats and a nice jacket to dress them up.
I've been to the bank with my nightie still on over my jeans and a nice coat over the top to hide it.

I look like caca most days. Messy pony tail, glasses, chap stick, sweats tank and chucks. Its also because I've felt like a cow for the past three months.

I need to get that side of my life together, also. It's funny that I have tons of clothes, and over 40 pairs of shoes, but I'm always wearing loose tees, jeans or sweat pants or yoga pants, flip flops or chucks.

Leggings rock! I do this too. Very little effort for a nice put-together look. I will also wear a simple sundress that looks ok with a sloppy hair bun and hide my no-makeup face behind huge sunglasses. Takes maybe 5 minutes tops and nobody is the wiser! lol
