    Default Dancewear in New Orleans

I'm in New Orleans right now, planning on going into apply at one of the clubs in a few days, and I need to buy shoes and t-backs. I did a google search for dancewear and stripper gear but I'm not having any luck finding any stores here. I know that most clubs have (overpriced) boutiques in them, but I was looking for something like a Secret's that I could go to and spend less than the club shops. Not sure which club I'm gonna go into, I've heard good things about this town though.

Thanks, any tips on where to buy inexpensive dancewear in New Orleans would really help me out.

Unfortunately, there are not as many good options in NOLA. There is a boutique on Bourbon, called Hustler, right at Bourbon and Canal.

There are the boutiques on Bourbon (Bourbon Tease, Hustler), but they're overpriced and don't have a great selection.

If you have a car, you can try Suzette's in Metairie http://www.suzettes.com/
They're also kind of expensive, but have a better selection than the Bourbon place, and you might be able to find some better deals.

Be sure and mention you're a dancer at whatever store you go to, as most of them offer dancer discounts.

There's not that many restrictions on what kind of bottom you can wear in NOLA, that I know of. Lots of girls wear the y-back thongs, but I have seen just about every kind of thong imaginable onstage here. As long as your pussy isn't showing (no matter how you move) and it's not sheer, it should be fine.

New Orleans doesn't have a Victoria's Secret. You need to go out to suburbia for that. Dress to Kill has been closed for a while. Bourbon Tease is also closed, but the guys who ran it opened a new store next to where DtK was, in the old paint store, corner of Dauphine and Bienville. It's a much better store than their old one, with more space, more selection, and lower prices. That's a good place for g-strings and whatnot. I buy all my shoes online but I've noticed they have a decent, if somewhat overpriced, shoe selection. For lingerie-type dancewear I recommend Trashy Diva Lingerie on Chartres, a block or so downriver from the Cathedral. For lashes, makeup, hairpieces, and accessories, try Fifi Mahoney's in the 900 block of Royal or Beauty Plus at St. Claude and Elysian Fields.

Do you happen to wear size 6 in heels? I have a few lightly worn pairs I'd part with for 20 bucks or so.

Also, I'm pretty sure none of the clubs here have stores inside them, so don't count on that.

I can't speak for New Orleans specifically but I would check Facebook. Yep, Facebook. I searched for Dancewear and exotic wear as people and came up with a whole crew of people. All ive contactedare willing to customize and ship. My favorites are Lik Dancewear and Eclipse Dancewear they have lots of pictures to get ideas from as well!

There's a Victoria's Secret in Lakeside Mall in Metairie, 15 minute drive from downtown, if that's what you're looking for. And the Hustler store on Bourbon seems to have a bunch of shoes, though not sure how expensive. There's another store in the next block too.
