    Default Just started dancing

I dance in Florida where there is no touching allowed, and we wear long gowns with a t-back type thong. I have taken pole dance classes, but I have trouble with the pole not spinning. Over all I think I am doing good. I have worked a total of 3 days and can tell you honestly I know not one girls name. I go in to work and I get out. Any advice would be appreciated or just to talk. Not sure if I am doing this right. When I give dances I touch myself and it gets the guys to really notice me. Of course I get money. However, I do notice no other girls doing this. Or if I am on the pole I do what is called a stripper push up right up to the guy, but I don't break space. Noticed no other girl does this either. Also, for those 3 days I have worked I have made over $200. I have yet to make over $300! Looking forward to talking to anyone! Kinda lonely.

I can't give you a ton of advice about florida as i am very far from there... but i can offer some general help.

When working with a non-spinning pole, obviously your spins are not going to be as crazy. Work on doing sexy poses and holds- this is where a stationary pole is awesome. The key is just keep moving slowly and sensually- really be aware of your body movements. This applies for lap dances too- keep your moves ridiculously slow. Be aware that wherever your hands are is where the guy is likely to focus. So you can do a move, slowly run your hands over different parts of your body- really draw out every pose.

Do attempt to say hi to a few girls. You certainly don't have to be anybody's best friend, but do be friendly. You don't want to appear stuck up or anything.

Making any money at all your first few days is good- you're just starting out and probably don't have your persona etc down yet.

There are loads of videos on youtube of girls dancing on stationary poles. Also since this only day three just watched the girls, and you'll work it out. I would say keep doing what you're doing until someone complains, and if they do say, "Hey no one ever told me I couldn't do that. Now that I know, It won't happen again." Also, I would say learn the girls names. It's best to know who they are even if you don't talk to them. If something happens, you don't want to say, "The girl in the red dress was doing blank." You want to say, "Tammy was doing blank."
