Hi guys, I just got an iPhone... it's the first "smart phone" I've ever had and this cloud thing is totally new to me. It's asking me if I'd like to enable iCloud and I'm a little concerned that if I use my phone to take risque photos of myself, it'll go onto a bunch of other servers that are clearly connected to my identity and be less secure. I'd like to use it for the convenience, but I'm sure there are better ways to go about it.
Do any of you have thoughts about precautions that could be taken to maximize security? I was thinking that maybe I could make multiple accounts, so that my camming material is not connected to my main account and when it gets synced to other devices, I could have it set up with a different account on my computer, or maybe even a different computer altogether (I have a PC that is used only for camming).
I've also heard that it's important to change the settings so that a location is not matched to the photos I've taken, so I tried disabling "location services," but then I can't use the "Find My Phone" feature, or GPS. Isn't there some way of disabling location only for the photo data? BTW, I'm using the iPhone 4S.
Any thoughts you guys have on these issues would be much appreciated. Thanks.
