I have really long blonde hair with layers. I get highlights biannually and get trims about every two or three months. I straighten it almost every time I wash my hair, so there's a lot of heat damage. After I got my latest highlights and a trim in mid-December, my hair just started feeling really fried. I'd also been using a shampoo with sulfates for a survey panel, and although it initially gave good results, after finishing the bottle, I started getting a lot of split ends and breakage. My hair used to be really soft and shiny, but after those highlights last month, it just wasn't soft anymore. It was dry and brittle, breaking easily, and flooded with split ends. I ended up going back only a month after my last trim to try to get rid of those split ends, and my stylist recommend two products sold at the salon. I bought them and I am so thrilled with what they did for my hair.
The products are called Surface: Hair Health Art. They are all sulfate and paraben free. The first product I use is the Trinity Protein Cream...it's a cream spray that you put into damp hair. I immediately follow that with the Surface Bassu Gold, a hydrating oil. I use about a quarter-sized application of it and layer it throughout my hair. Seriously, I used these products twice and my hair immediately started feeling like it used to years ago. It's really shiny and incredibly soft, even the ends. I'm completely stunned about the condition my hair is in now, and I figured as you ladies probably have the same problems with heat damage and technical services like coloring, you might want to check these out.
