Get my left sleeve started & finished, buy a new car! OR, get my left sleeve started & finished and go lay on the beach in Fiji!

Probably pay off my son's student loans so maybe he could live a little better. Though thinking about it, he would probably just blow any savings realized on stupid stuff.....but yep, I would. My favorite bartendar has family issues, mom with breast cancer and dad I believe is nearing the end with colon cancer. Maybe spring for a maid for her once a week to help her through the rough time she is having and maybe it would provide her with a break after she moved back with parents to help out. And for myself....probably one night at club without much concern about how much was spent.

Well, I did include one carefree night at the club for myself.....and not like I could get enhancements. Wait......hmmmmmm .....maybe I could and then I would know I was bigger than average !!!! hahaha....ok back to the original thread. Sorry !!

Get caught up on bills. Pay rent for 2 months.
Finish decorating/upgrading our house.
Go out to a nice/expensive dinner.![]()

So none of you would feel apprehensive about spending the money?
Deposit most. About $9,999.99 and put the penny under my pillow and kiss it every night. Or down payment on a house.

Take my girlfriend on one hell of a great vacation.... Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Germany.
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade... then find someone whose life gave them vodka, and have a party.
Probably pay off my car and go down to TJ for the Telemundo special![]()

I would get some cosmetic procedure(s). It's a good investment to make more $$$$$$

buy six ounces of gold !

I would go on a vacation- a really awesome one and save the rest.![]()

The school that I'm interested in going to costs around $8,000 so I would spend it on school, and use the remainder on rent.
Yeah, I'm boring.
10k falling out of the sky would definitely accelerate my plans to move to Montana or Idaho if I could find a job there. It would be an easier decision with a little more savings to hire a professional moving service and take more time off to get things in order.
I would take a small chunk of it to pay of little debts I have here and there, take a little bit to go on a vacation with my siblings, and then put the rest (about $7000) in the bank to be my emergency fund. That way, everything I made from here on out at work could go straight to my student loans and credit cards, instead of me always having to balance between the "should I pay off something? Or put it in the bank in case I have an emergency?" dilemma that I always go through lol
I would SO love to win $10,000 right now...
eh, stick it in the bank/savings for a rainy day. Maybe after a rhinoplasty lol!

Put it towards my student loans...I hate having that weight hanging over me every month.
New furniture. New desk, bedroom suite, sofa, and bookshelves from Pottery Barn. Save the rest. Maybe a small vacation, or shopping spree in NYC...

That's a hard one because it is a big chunk of money but not big enough to make any major life improvements. I guess i'd just do the boring thing and chuck it on my mortgage. The sooner that is paid off the sooner I get an extra $400 a week to spend on myself.

I'll answer, then ask: No, I wouldn't feel apprehensive about spending at least SOME of it. For many folks, take home pay from prize would be ~ 7K. Also, many folks could find some fun (vacation, putting them "over the top" for downpayment on desired purchase, etc).
My question: Why $10k figure? What $$ ammount would prize have to be to make one feel less apprehensive about spending some of it?
Circling back to original question, and possible "real" question: For me, $10k prize would be nice, but not a life altering ammount, from spending or investment pov.........
I'm right 96% of the time.I don't sweat
the other 5% .......................

I would spend about 5 grand on a car and spend the other 5 on strippers. It would take a week or two because I'm a cheapskate.
