    Default Breast lift/reduction scars

I want to get a breast lift/reduction done later this year, and I'll have a full-anchor scar. I want to be able to get back to work as soon as possible (currently a cam girl, might start stripping too), but I also want to be realistic about how long I will be out of work. So for anyone that has had a breast lift or reduction (while being in the adult industry):

How long were you out of work for healing?

How long did it take for your scars to be flat enough to be covered with make-up?

How did you prepare to be out of work for a long time?

I got one before I started working, but it's definitely a lot longer than a regular BA. It sucks, I wanna get another one now but I'm estimating you'd be out around 2 months. And even then the scars are gonna be red and you'll have to take great care of them..

^^^ while I don't want to prejudice your decision, but be aware that most 'anchor lift' scars are going to remain objectionably red for at least 6 months. There is also an issue of infection risk if you attempt to cover them with body concealer on a regular basis. Remember that, where a normal BA ... even with a crease incision ... involves perhaps 3" of incision in a 'protected' location under your breast, the anchor lift is going to involve up to 12" of incision ... with much of that being on the lower front of your breast and around your nipple where it will be much more exposed.

I had a breast lift/implants. You can pics in this thread:

Honestly, Mel is right. For 6 months or so the scars will be bright red. I didn't care though. Anything was better than what I had before the surgery!
