    Dizzy Hair pills?

Remember a few years ago, everyone on this site was talking about the wal-mart hair pills? They were some kind of vitamin supplement that is supposed to make your hair grow.

I didn't care about it at the time, but I have been getting one bad hair cut after another (I don't know why, it doesn't seem to matter where I go, I have the same problem!) and I cannot get my hair to grow out. In fact, each bad cut is shorter than the last one! I might as well jsut get a Jamie Lee Curtis 'do and call it a day.

So I am wondering, is anybody still taking hair pills, and what kind are you taking? also, how much? I can't take this short hair any longer.

I read through that same thread a couple weeks ago, and got pretty obsessed with the idea of taking vitamins to grow an inch and a half in an month. Someone posted the ingredients, and I made up my own concoction: 5000 mcg (5 mg) of biotin per day, 2 Whole Foods Brand Hair Skin and Nails herbal supplement (there is a "maximum strength" version, but it has more vitamin A than I can take on Accutane), and 1 Whole Foods brand Food Based Women's Multivitamin. Been doing this for about a week, and my roots have become more noticable, more quickly than usual. Still open to experimenting more and adding a few other ingredients. I've also started eating two hard boiled eggs for breakfast, as one poster recommended.

Colleen, I did some research for a friend that texted me a product she found out from her stylist & it looked like a good product. I have nothing to do with the product...I just looked into it & saw a post about hair & shared.

I take 5 grams, so 5,000 mcg I believe, of Biotin along with Maxi hair by Country Life vitamins. I've been taking these for 2-3 years now, and I have unprecedented hair growth on this regimen! I do notice though that it grows fast ALL over the body, which is super annoying. I also feel like I have body hair places that I didn't before.... oh well.

Turns out, that product is discontinued.

Does anybody else take a single hair pill? No way do I have the dicipline to take a buncha pills every morning. I want to go back on Tonalin, too and even trying to take two different kinds of pills is pushing my capacity.
