    Default House fees raised

I just started dancing three weeks ago, and last time I went in they gave everyone a new sheet saying house fees were being raised from an average of $25 to $40, with the exception being one night where it's $10, so I imagine there will be girls up to my eyeballs (tonight, and being shy still doesn't help when there's a girl every three feet in the club). The $40 is combined with $30 for managers, $10 for DJ, $5 for valet, and whatever is tipped to the waitresses (not mandatory, but nice). That's $85 just to go into work. I'm new, scared to talk to people, and only brought home about $100 after tip outs and house fees last Thursday. Is this increase a normal amount? I'm having an "is it worth it/can I earn that back and enough to make it count" dilemma...

First, those house fees are pretty normal for stripclubs. Second, you need to get over your fear of approaching people. There are tons and I mean tons of threads in hustle hut to help you out. Read them until your eyes bleed! LOL.. When you go back to work on your next shift I guarantee you will be alot more confident

Generally when a club has high house fees it's because girls make enough money to justify them - otherwise they wouldn't have a roster of dancers! I've heard of girls paying fees that are lower and higher, but like kaiarose said, what you're paying is pretty average. Try not to think so much about the overhead cost of going into work, and focus on approaching the customers (they came into the club to see and talk to strippers, so give em what they came for!) and hustling them for dances. You're pretty new and there's a bit of a learning curve, but you're sure to hit your stride soon.

Thank you ladies I think I needed a pep talk. I just did a "what I've paid to start dancing" vs. "what I've made" and I'm on top about $40 (I bought a pole a looong time ago for fun and fitness, so that's most of my initial costs). I'll be reading Hustle Hut some more till about 8pm tonight...
