    Default Please Help!

So, what would you guys do in this situation? The superbowl is coming to my town and my club is screwing us left and right. Triple+ house fees, increase in champagne room prices by 300-500% with a 25% larger cut owed to the house, DOUBLING our girls per shift with out of town girls, putting in 10 new curtained off "suites" in a storage room with no cameras, that's probably all pretty standard but I also found this:

Hi ! I am Cindy and have worked for here about 10 years. I want to welcome one and all to Indy for the Super Bowl. We have a really fun club and lots of pretty girls.. ALL OF OUR GIRLS ARE AVAILABLE FOR OTC. ALL OF THEM. So please come in and pick out your favorite girl for the Super Bowl. Many of the girls are already booked for the entire week so supppy is limited. Love you guys ! XOXOXOXOX Cindy !

This was posted by a waitress I know, and up until now, liked at my club on strip club list, followed by a comment from a man looking for 4 "hookers" and a girl claiming to be from my club offering to take him up on his offer. I know, I know that site is not reliable, etc but I'm fairly certain this is legit because she has made another post, complete with picture, a few down.

My question is, short of actually resorting to prostitution, what would you do, switch clubs at the last minute and lose any senority you may have? Suck it up, pay the higher prices, and hope for the best?

I'm fairly sure there won't be nearly the money to be made the club is claiming to the house girls. Also, there could be repercussions for complaining/not going along with this as our contracts were due to be renewed earlier this week but we've heard nothing about it. I'm honestly comepletely frightened about the enviroment and pressure to "perform" being put on us.

I feel as if this is even outside the realm of legality. Is blatant prostitution the norm during huge events like this? Any help is much appreciated, Thanks.

Damn, that's crazy! If your club is doing this sort of thing, I wouldn't be surprised if the other clubs in the city are following suit, so it may just be better to stick it out and hope for the best - provided the increases are just temporary. Of course, if you have some fellow dancer/industry friends in other clubs, it could be wise to find out what the situations are at their club. With bringing in double the girls, I can't imagine seniority will play too strong of a factor in you making money, so if another club at least has lower fees, it could be worthwhile to take a "vacation" from your club.

It's only for a few days just go in and deal. I live in tampa where we've been host to superbowl numerous times though I've only worked one years ago I made about double of the usual. in this economy with all the girls coming and the higher fees and it being Indiana I don't think your going t make double or anything but I would ust go in as normal hey you may get lucky with a guy who'll take you to vip all night and when it's over the club will be back to normal. Also I heard indie is strict about bringing in tons of girls during racing events so I wouldn't worry they just want to make sure they have enough girls for all the guys they think are going to be flooding in.

I just got off my day job but I had seen this during my lunch break and wanted to post. I work at your club as well and I know it can be intimidating. As far as the price increaes, it's a fact of life, theres nothing we can do about it. They may or may not have been handed down from corporate for all we know, so don't take it out on the staff. If we truly can not sell for the prices they'll have no choice but to lower them to something reasonable.

Do I think they're really offering what you say? They really may be I don't know. But as long as it is discreet and doesn't affect us I don't think there is much we can do about it. I know I don't always feel entirely comfortable in this club. I have no complaints at all about most of the staff, house mom, doormen, bartenders, DJ's are amazing. That said, management can be tricky so MAKE SURE YOU TIP EVERYONE ELSE, so you have a good support network or ear in the club if you need it.I have felt that I haven't really gotten in with the managers and this is affecting me. I do worry about money being directed elsewhere or not being in the loop since I'm not a favortite but I don't think theres anything I can do to get on their good side.

I recommend you stay at the club and try to work. If it does end up being terrible I'm sure working at our club you are for sure attractive and talented enough that any club in the city would be happy to have you. If you're just too nervous, the other clubs are not raising fees, so you may feel more comfortable. PM me if you want info on the others. Whatever you do don't believe the nonsense on the other website, it's either girls who have been fired/not hired making our life hard, girls from other clubs making a fuss to draw away business, or just stupid guys with too much time trying to stir shit up.

as i posted in another thread, the superbowl is going to make indy a bit of a mess so if you're planning on traveling to work, get everything situated NOW.
i would probably just refuse to pay house if it were my home club but you'll still have the upperhand being local. if you work consistently, ask mgmt if the increase in house fees will be enforced for you. like i posted in the other thread, they're going to make it more difficult for unscheduled and out of town dancers to work but if this is your home club where you work regularly, you could talk to a manager privately and see if they will be reasonable. also, if house is normal $40 and during the super bowl, it's $150, you'll make it back. it will just be a bit annoying having new dancers in your space. you'll be fine.

I actually went in tonight to try and work and she's right. Our club is a mess. I arrived before what's been the cut off in this city since my first day of stripping and was turned away. There were a couple new girls there. I'm not sure how many but a few. Now, I was told it "wouldn't be fair" to let me work. I'm sorry but I should always have the option to work. If there are too many girls one of the travelers needs to be sent home. Although, this particular manager can't stand me and was literally grinning as he told me I couldn't work. I was also told it is apparently part of my new contract, which I haven't signed or seen that I must work 6 hours. I'm feeling more and more like I'll never be offered a contract and I'm basically at their mercy. Sorry this turned into a rant. But I totally understand the OP wanting to leave now. I kind of just assumed I was still getting into my groove after returning after a several year break but maybe there is a bad vibe in my club. It's terrible because we have really polite customers and the girls and staff are for the most part great with a few exceptions.
